The RPO plays the role of the pilot and other controllers in the Air Traffic Controller training simulator. The RPO operates a combination of a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities during medium and high-fidelity training exercises. RPOs receive voice commands from students, input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology, and respond to the student via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology.

Candidates for these positions must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of experience in a comparable position. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities. The selected candidate will support the Air Traffic Control training requirements at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK.
Job Description:

The RPO plays the role of the pilot and other controllers in the Air Traffic Controller training simulator. The RPO operates a combination of a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities during medium and high-fidelity training exercises. RPOs receive voice commands from students, input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology, and respond to the student via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology.

The candidate will be required to complete the following certifications: Classroom (pass test on airspace and procedures) and Lab (perform as a Remote Pilot Operator on all positions).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates for these positions must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of experience in a comparable position. Candidates must also demonstrate minimum keyboard speed of forty (40) wpm with ninety (90) percent accuracy, possess an ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals, and have the ability to speak clearly and be understood.

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Desired skills:

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team (Multimedia Developers, Quality Assurance, Instructions System Designers, Subject Matter Experts, Instructors); Certification in Terminal radar lab; Effective oral and written communications skills; Working knowledge of the FAAO JO 7110.65; Effective team building skills; MS Office Suite Proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.); Basic familiarization of current technologic tools (tablets, notebooks, applications, etc.).

**Job Description**

Imaging Processing Operator will pull, prepare, and scan the remaining paper files into electronic files to support the Department of Labor DFEC and Longshore program achieve their goals. This is a 1-year temporary scanning contract.

**Core Hours:** 8:00am - 4:30pm (half-hour lunch) Monday - Friday **Wages:** $17.75 Hourly

**Key Responsibilities (Bullets)**

+ Monitors the day-to-day activities of the imaging process and equipment.

+ Preparation, Scanning, and Quality Control of all documents.

+ Pull claims from the central filing area and put them in a cart. When the cart is full, take it to a designated DOL employee.

+ Lookup each claim, print case ID, put in the file and log each case ID prepared to be scanned.

+ Once the file has been prepped, scanned and saved to the District's C: drive, prior to the file being uploaded to OIS review the files for accuracy.

+ Schedules production runs to be completed on time.

+ Monitors and operates the control console in accordance with operating instructions.

+ Responding to operating and output instructions.

+ Reviews error messages and makes corrections during operation.

+ Performs problem resolution by:

+ determining the cause of failure.

+ determining the best course of action to bring the system back into operation.

+ refers problems to the Site Manager when not capable of resolving the problem.

+ advising and assisting operators on procedures to correct functional problems.

+ notifying appropriate servicing personnel of all hardware/software difficulties.

+ maintaining a log of downtime on associated equipment and software.

+ Interacts with computer operators and customers regarding job set up, work performed, and job status to achieve desired results.

+ Performs related duties as assigned to best serve the Customer.

A Day in the Life on our OCC Seasonal Processing Center Management Team

Serve with Samaritan's Purse as part of Operation Christmas Child Seasonal Processing Center Management team and you will work with thousands of employees and volunteers to help bring Jesus' love to children around the world. When you work on our Processing Center Management team, you assist in managing temporary employees to facilitate the processing and preparation of Shoeboxes for distribution to children in need. You are acting as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to bring joy to children, families, and communities. You, or someone you know, may be an ideal candidate to serve in a Seasonal Processing Center Management role in one of our Processing Centers. These associates will work as part of a team overseeing 5 different departments of the warehouse; Quality Control Management, Volunteer Management, Floor Management, Shipping Management, and Receiving Management. This seasonal role will run from November to December. This position cannot be remote.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have previous management experience, and possess a desire to serve the Lord in a hands-on ministry.

Manage outbound shipping container schedule, loading of processed inventory into shipping containers, completing all shipping paperwork, and managing the team of associates working in shipping areas. Requires strong leadership abilities and an outgoing personality to lead/coach temporary staff. Knowledge of shipping and operations is preferred.

Receiving Manager

Manage incoming deliveries of inventory, supervise and track inventory unloading and storage, and move inventory toward processing system. Requires strong leadership abilities and an outgoing personality to lead/coach temporary staff. Knowledge of receiving and operations is preferred.
