POSITION DESCRIPTION: Currently seeking a Researcher for our Manufacturing Sciences and Technology department, Analytical section. This individual will be responsible for setting up and executing experiments such as LC assay, GC residual solvents, molecular weight determination, dissolution and in-vitro analyses, particle size and surface area determination. The Researcher is expected to coordinate sample testing, work efficiently, document results, and communicate findings in a timely manner. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform and record analyses. Adhere to GDP's in all work practices. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe workplace on a daily basis. Review peer's work as needed. Review revisions to procedures as needed. Assist with chemistry lab/product investigations and studies. Method development and optimization. Accountable to the team leader (and rest of department) for ensuring proactive execution of work assignments. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Experience with Empower chromatography data acquisition and analysis software (preferred). Experience with HPLC & UPLC (Waters preferred) and GC instrumentation (headspace experience preferred). Strong verbal and written communications skills. Maintain laboratory notebook and records in accordance with GDP including timely recording of information and review. Ability to function in an analytical laboratory environment; should have no known sensitivities to chemicals present in the laboratory and no health conditions that preclude their working in a chemical laboratory environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor or advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or science related discipline. 2-5 years of Industrial work experience with HPLC, UPLC, and/or GC or equivalent educational experience.

    The IPM Technician position is responsible for executing their daily role within the IPM department at a highly productive and efficient pace to achieve the weekly objectives. This role is responsible for a variety of duties related to Integrated Pest Management as instructed by leadership. This position must utilize knowledge about pesticides, fungicides, pests, beneficial insects, and application equipment in order to prevent and suppress pest/pathogen pressures. The IPM Technician must participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. This position will report to the IPM lead . Duties & Responsibilities: Essential Duties Procedures & Tasks: Apply pesticide treatments in a safe, effective, and compliant manner to all phases of growth. Ensure accurate and legible logging of a variety of paperwork and labels. Maintain and operate spray equipment. Up to date understanding of product labels, SDS, and mix rates. Scout for molds, mildews, pests, and abnormal plant morphologies. Maintain a biological insect program by distributing beneficial insects, breeding sachets, and sticky cards. Cleaning and maintaining all areas, equipment, and material throughout the cultivation. Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, pruning plants, harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility. Workspace and Material Maintenance: Supporting the IPM Manager to guide and train IPM department members to maintain proper organization and standard operating procedures. Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area. Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the cultivation. Contribute and support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area. Compliance and Reporting: Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations. Report any improper action of compliance regulations. Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department. Supervision & Job Requirements: Works under the direct supervision of the IPM Manager. This person will be expected to guide and train associates in the department to assist and support IPM Technician related responsibilities. This position is expected to follow and obey the company policies as well as any state or local rules/regulations This position is expected to perform duties independently at a highly productive and efficient pace, consistently. Working Conditions: Handling state approved pesticides and beneficial insects. Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment. Working in warmer, agricultural conditions, wearing cover-all uniforms for protective layering. Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily. Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts. Prepared for full 40 hour week working scheduled shifts. Handle and operate spray equipment for pesticide applications. Job Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced production environment. Demonstrates ability to consistently meet productivity, performance requirements, and demonstrates high attention to detail. Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others.
