We have an innovative cardiovascular program and we are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand cardiovascular program. We will soon be moving to our new state of the art Critical Care Tower and will have three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work with a team of nine cardiologist and two electrophysiologist.

Responsibilities:
Job Summary
Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Professional Practice
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Maintains strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months. Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
Education
Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
Experience
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
One year of experience working in an Cath Lab preferred
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International - RCIS

The Quality Control Chemist III, with limited supervision, will be responsible for participating in the Technology Transfer of established methods into the FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Diosynth Texas (FDBT) Quality Control Laboratory. Perform QC analytical testing for GMP in-process, release and stability testing as needed:
PH Conductivity & qPCR required
HPLC, RP-HPLC, SEC, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, UPLC, CE, IEF, Protein Purity Assay, Peptide Mapping, DNA Sequencing and/or UV/Vis Spectrometry preferred
Residual Analysis and/or Surfactant Analysis
Osmolality testing
Executes technical transfer, qualification and validation protocols as needed.
Technical Writing to include:
Writes and revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) documentation as appropriate.

Creating manuals for processes/activities
Sample plans (support & edit)
Assisting and initiating closure of deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls
Reviewing Methods for accuracy:

Facilitate the maintenance and repair of equipment

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related degree with 3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience; OR
Associates degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related degree with 5+ years of hands-on laboratory experience; AND
2+ year of experience in a GMP/GxP or a comparable federally regulated environment.
Ability to analyze raw data, assess assay and system suitability criteria, understand process from beginning to end, and explain process.

Perform as a SME in the designated methods transferred into FDBT.
Previous pipetting experience.
Ability to follow safety procedures outlined in the Chemical Hygiene Plan.

**Responsibilities**
As our Cath Lab Technician at St. Joseph Regional Hospital, you will perform duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures. In this position you must demonstrate an understanding of all invasive procedures, the equipment and supplies for each procedure, and indications for performing the procedures. Must exhibit a strong knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, and be able to interpret data gathered during procedures, and recognize potential implications in patient care or complications. Duties include:
+ Exhibits and shares knowledge of policies and procedures. Acts as mentor and preceptor to new technologist.
+ Knowledgeable and demonstrated competency of diagnostic procedures, in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath's, peripheral, neuro, and EP procedures, of Electrophysiological studies, and in the operation of Physiological Monitoring system for diagnostic, interventional studies. Accurately enters and records pertinent patient data, documents events, and calculates valve areas.
+ Measure and documents pressure recordings. Keeps an accurate log of events, to include medications, hemodynamics, supplies, and procedures performed. Troubleshoots problems and unusual events and reports them to supervisor.
+ Scrubs at tableside assisting physician with procedure. Able to take Scrub Call Independently and assist Physician's in acute MI and Stroke procedures on unstable patients. Knowledgeable of various Stents their accurate preparation and deployment. Knowledgeable of Thrombectomy procedures, including preparation and deployment. Knowledgeable and demonstrates competency in the insertion of Mechanical Circulatory support device in critically ill patients. Knowledgeable of Intravascular Ultrasound theory and application to include system set up and operation. Knowledge of aseptic technique and ability to maintain a sterile field while assisting the physician in performing the procedures.
+ Operates Physiological Monitoring system for Diagnostic, EP, Neuro, and Interventional studies. Accurately enters and records pertinent patient data. Measures and documents pressure recordings. Keeps an accurate log of events, to include medications, hemodynamics, supplies, and procedures performed. Calculates valve areas.
