The cardiac catheterization laboratory technician assists doctors during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterization. The technician is an essential member of the team. The duties scrubbing to assist the MD, circulating for supplies to assist during procedure, and monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during the procedure. These services will be performed in the cardiac cath lab. In the execution of job duties, it is the universal expectation that all tasks are performed with a patient centered focus, while also seeking opportunities to continually improve core processes.
