Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Degree: physical sciences, life sciences, or engineering that included 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by course work in mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics.

1. GS-7: You must have completed or will complete a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's from an accredited institution AND must have documented Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) at the undergraduate level in the following:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Chemist in Quality Control and Applications is responsible for the instrumental and wet chemistry techniques for testing materials, finished products, customer samples, and components. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
1 + years experience in laboratory work must include preparation of samples, following written procedures, record keeping and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work for extended periods of time without direct supervision.
1+years of experience including practical experience with ICP, IC, and wet chemistry techniques. Use of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel is a must.
