A day in the life
We're using advanced approaches such as foundation models to connect information about our videos and customers from a variety of information sources, acquiring and processing data sets on a scale that only a few companies in the world can match. This will enable us to recommend titles effectively, even when we don't have a large behavioral signal (to tackle the cold-start title problem). It will also allow us to find our customer's niche interests, helping them discover groups of titles that they didn't even know existed. We are looking for creative & customer obsessed machine learning scientists who can apply the latest research, state of the art algorithms and ML to build highly scalable page personalization solutions. You'll be a research leader in the space and a hands-on ML practitioner, guiding and collaborating with talented teams of engineers and scientists and senior leaders in the Prime Video organization. Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of building models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Responsibilities of an D4ES Waste Disposition Specialist (Scientist) will involve supporting the project by:

core elements of the Integrated Safety Management System/Environmental Management System

JOB SUMMARY:
The Research Chemist will directly assist a Senior Chemist with research projects, focusing on chitin and chitosan biopolymer chemistry, and including polymer synthesis and modification. The Research Chemist will be responsible for preparing experimental recipes and following experimental strategies as directed by the Senior Chemist, as well as performing chemical analysis. The position will also participate in experimental strategy sessions, project reviews, and directed and self-directed literature reviews.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Prepare experimental recipes as directed by the Senior Chemist
Follow experimental strategies and designs as directed by the Senior Chemist
Perform chemical analysis at the direction of the Senior Chemist or the analytical chemistry team
Participate in experimental strategy sessions and project reviews

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field and/or 2+ years demonstrable experience in chemical synthesis/functionalization projects
Laboratory experience involving biochemistry and/or biopolymers
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills specific to a laboratory setting

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead and oversee critical area and wetland delineations in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) guidelines and regional supplements.
Manage all phases of environmental projects including proposal development, budgeting, fieldwork, regulatory coordination, reporting, and client communication.
Prepare and review high-quality technical documents such as wetland delineation reports, critical area reports, jurisdictional determinations, mitigation plans, HPA, and Section 404/401 permit applications.
Serve as a primary liaison with federal, state, and local agencies on environmental permitting and compliance matters.
Guide the development and implementation of wetland restoration, mitigation, and monitoring plans.
Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff.
Utilize GIS and data management tools to support project planning and analysis.
Ensure all project work meets regulatory requirements, internal standards, and client expectations.
Stay current on evolving environmental regulations, guidance, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Natural Resources, or a related field.
