Position Summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Analytical Chemist located at the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) near Cumberland, MD. In this role, you will report directly to the Analytical Testing Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the Lab Information Management System Raw Materials Module. You will assist Quality, Receiving Inspection, and Configuration Management in ensuring specification compliance for incoming materials and shelf-life extensions. Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in cardiac cath and EP procedures, ACLS/BLS certifications, and ARRT credentials.
Responsibilities
Work in a cardiac catheterization lab within an acute care setting
There are 3 cath lab suites with an average of 15 to 18 cases per day
Patient population consists primarily of cardiology patients
Duties are focused in cath lab and electrophysiology (EP); no floating to other units
4x10 hour rotating day and evening shifts (6:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-7:30pm)
On-call required for weeknights, weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute response time
EPIC is used for documentation; equipment includes Toshiba, Carto, Abbott EP recording systems
Primary duties include scrubbing and assisting physicians in EP procedures, circulating, monitoring, documenting cases, and stocking rooms
Orientation specific to the cath lab and EP is provided
OR scrubs provided daily
Holiday and call coverage is required as part of the regular schedule
Only candidates who have not worked at any WVU facility in the past 2 years will be considered
Travelers cannot work at WVU locations for longer than 1 year cumulatively without taking a 2-year break
First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in cardiac and EP procedures
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech or ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), or ARRT (VI) credentials required
Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, electrophysiology, cryo/transeptal ablations, laser lead extractions, and device work is required
Experience using EP recording systems is required
Must have a valid license if applicable
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

DUTIES

Must be comfortable communicating with the public

Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
