Responsibilities * Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards. * Architect and implement intelligent virtual agents (chatbots) and conversational AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, integrating them with Power Platform applications, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and custom APIs. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure solution alignment with strategic goals and regulatory compliance. * Design and implement secure, scalable solutions following Power Platform governance best practices. * Develop robust Power BI data models, DAX measures, and interactive dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision-making. * Optimize Power Platform solution performance, ensuring efficient data processing, API integration, and user experience. * Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, mentoring junior developers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the OCIO. * Manage the application lifecycle of Power Platform solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, ALM practices, and version control using Azure DevOps or similar tools. * Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio features, updates, and best practices, advising the team and stakeholders accordingly. * Contribute to the development and implementation of OCIO-wide strategies and roadmaps for Power Platform adoption, governance, and AI integration. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years focused on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. * Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio (or Power Virtual Agents) for conversational AI and bot development. * Strong understanding of Dataverse/Common Data Service and its role within the Power Platform ecosystem. * Expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and creating interactive reports and dashboards. * Proficiency in integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams), Azure services, and third-party APIs. * Experience with Power Platform ALM, environment management, and governance strategies. * Familiarity with federal IT policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST) applicable to cloud and AI solutions. Preferred Qualifications: * Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher. * Experience in a federal government OCIO environment. * Experience with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM. * Knowledge of Azure AI services and their integration with Copilot Studio. * Experience with Agile development methodologies.
