Our State and Local Tax team is looking for a Sales Tax Senior Associate with a background in consulting. **As a Sales Tax Senior, you will:** + Review clients' accounts payable records and capital expenditures for sales and use tax overpayments, work to reduce client's tax audits, and assist with strategic tax planning. + Code and enter findings and results into Excel spreadsheets. + Prepare Report of Findings and training materials for clients. + Prepare required documentation (spreadsheets, forms, copies, etc.) to validate tax refunds. + Communicate and meet with various tax authorities and vendors to obtain tax refunds on behalf of clients. + Prepare status reports for clients. + Research tax laws for exemptions and tax savings for clients. **What you bring to the role:** + Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably in Accounting or Finance. + Ability to work in a team environment and understand the importance of providing the highest level of service to clients. + Organizational skills, with the ability to be detail oriented and thoroughly verify work for completeness and accuracy. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. + Familiarity with Access is a plus.
