Ms. Terri Weller currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President for Clinical Quality for Chesapeake Medical Staffing. She is a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Towson, Maryland. She earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland. Ms. Weller served as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Towson University, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and Stevenson University from 1974 - 2001. She has taught over 1,000 students in her career as an educator - many of whom are now in nursing leadership roles in the greater Baltimore area. She served as the Director of Health Services at Oldfields School, a private all-girls boarding school in Sparks, MD from 2000 until 2002. She has actively practiced nursing in Maryland for more than 40 years. She has been a Member of the Woman’s Club of Roland Park and the Junior League of Baltimore. She served as a Board Member of the Stoneleigh Community Association. She was an active Member of Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives participating on the Program Planning Committee from 2010 to 2012. She is a Member of the Maryland Nursing Workforce Commission. In 1995, she was the recipient of the Stevenson University Nursing Faculty Member of the Year Award. She is a Member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing. She is a graduate of the 2006 Baltimore County Leadership Class.In 2001, as a second career Nurse Entrepreneur, Ms. Weller embraced the challenges inherent in health care staffing and founded Chesapeake Medical Staffing.
