The Dental Practice Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the dental operations in the health center. Provides a range of services including screening for social determinants of health, substance abuse, connecting patients with a need to the appropriate services for them, assessing barriers to completing treatment plans; And/or common conditions, assessments and interventions related to chronic disease management.
Performs brief behavioral and cognitive interventions and conducts motivational interviewing to develop behavioral strategies aimed at symptom reduction
Provides psychoeducation and/or medical education materials for patients and their support systems
Triages patients with severe or high-risk behavioral health or substance abuse issues and refers such patients to mental health and substance abuse specialists as appropriate
Facilitates and oversees referrals to outpatient and inpatient treatment programs and supports a smooth transition into treatment
Performs brief, limited follow-up visits for selected patients and contacts patients post hospitalization when appropriate
Assists in preventing relapse or morbidity in conditions that tend to recur over time
Assists patients with medication adherence and disease self-management techniques as needed
Provides consultation to Primary Care or Behavioral Health Providers both onsite and by phone to enhance understanding of the patient and provide decision support for treatment planning and symptom monitoring

Cornerstone Care is seeking a Dental Receptionist for our Waynesburg location.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Dental Office experience (preferred)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Uses an array of devices and machines for communications and information management. Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the office, including: maintenance of the records of patients, scheduling of patients, accounts receivable, maintaining appearance and order of dental office, presentation of financial treatment plan options, and recall/referral system.
OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE:
Checks patients in and out and collects and processes patient payments. Updates patient demographics and insurance. Generates super bills. Enters into practice management system payments and charges and adjusts as needed.
Informs patients (either in person or via telephone) of health center policy concerning insurance co-payments, proof of income, payment at time of service, etc.
Verifies insurance and eligibility.
Maintains a patient recall system.
Assists patients with billing questions, forms and processes sliding fee and other applications.
Balances cash daily. Prepares bank deposits.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for coding health center patient encounters using ICD10, CPT and HCPCS coding tools. Reviews patient medical records and ensures their accuracy and completeness. Communicates with physicians and other health care providers when necessary, regarding medical record documentation. Receives and answers billing related inquiries as related to ICD10, CPT and HCPCS coding.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews the medical record to ensure compliance with established coding guidelines, third party reimbursement policies and state and federal regulations.
Reviews the medical record to accurately assign codes to patient encounters using ICD10, CPT and HCPCS coding tools; codes to the highest level of specificity, using modifiers when required.
Abstracts all necessary information from patient health records to identify primary and secondary complications and co-morbid conditions.
Ensures that the final diagnosis (ICD10) and procedures (CPT) state by the physician or other health care provider accurately reflect the care and treatment rendered.
Investigates charges, ICD10, CPT and HCPCS codes inquiring regarding billing discrepancies, in collaboration with medical personnel, insurance companies, patients and other staff.
Audits clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness and identify areas for improvement.
Keeps abreast of the latest coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.
Attends staff meetings as requested by the Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
An associate degree in health information technology or a related field OR.
Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent highly preferred.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in a healthcare setting.

The Cornerstone Care Psychiatry and Counseling Department is seeking to hire a Full Time Licensed Counselor (LCSW/LPC) for our Outpatient Locations.The therapist would provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or groups.Patient demographics include child, adolescent, and adult. Counseling services are provided via in person at the outpatient clinic sites or via telemedicine.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This licensed mental health professional provides a variety of psychotherapeutic and consultation services to individuals diagnosed with a mental or emotional disorder according to the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association, 4

Edition). This counselor/social worker may provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, play therapy or conjoint and family therapy according to established treatment approaches for which she or he has specific training and expertise which can be documented through formal or continuing education. This licensed mental health professional is responsible for the comprehensive management of the counseling and psychological services for the patients on her or his caseload.
Specific responsibilities of the Counselor include the following:
Provides direct counseling and psychotherapy to patients assigned to them by the intake therapist.
Conducts a thorough clinical assessment of the patient, which results in a DSM-IV diagnosis, appropriate treatment recommendations, and treatment goals.
Maintains appropriate documentation and confidential clinical files on their patients in accordance with general managed care quality assurance guidelines.
Seeksout consultation with fellow Cornerstone Care Counselors or the Clinical Director for issues which may require extended treatment or unusual interventions (e.g., hospitalization, referral to other agencies, etc.) or otherwise problematic or troubling to the counselor.
Coordinates treatment with other health professionals such as the primary care physician, psychiatrists, etc., when appropriate.
Responds to urgent and/or emergency situations which emerge when Cornerstone Care patients reporting acute distress or crises in accordance to the policies and procedures of Cornerstone Care.
Provides the highest quality service to their patients in accordance to the standards and practices set forth in their profession's ethics and professional practice guidelines.
The candidate must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Mandatory possession of current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor. Applicants without a current license will not be considered.
Previous outpatient clinic work preferred but not required. Salary based upon experience.

What Youll Do

Cornerstone Care is looking for a Medical Assistant to support our Mt. Morris location. The successful candidate will perform clinical and administrative duties such as welcoming and rooming patients, recording patient data in the EHR, collecting and labeling specimens for laboratory procedures, assisting providers with physical examinations and procedures, calling to follow up on patient lab results and referrals, and other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager.
Build relationship with patients, update patient medical records, prepare examination rooms, manage laboratory tests, perform routine medical tasks, and manage patient records in Electronic Health Records.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Clinical
Welcomes patients courteously.
Acquires accurate preliminary visit data on each patient (height, weight, vital signs, age, and reason for visit) and properly records it in the patient record.
Collects and labels specimens for reference laboratory and completes appropriate lab requisition form.
Assists providers, when required, with physical examinations and procedures.
Carries out procedures under the supervision of providers (ear lavage, injections, vision, hearing, EKG, venipuncture, TB Tine, etc.)
Maintains clean environment in patient rooms and lab before and after each patient.
Disinfects and/or sterilizes appropriate instruments on a daily basis.
Maintains adequate stock levels of patient care supplies in exam rooms and lab. Completes appropriate supply requisition as needed.
Checks exam rooms each am/pm turning on/off necessary equipment.
Calls patients on normal results.
B. Miscellaneous
Refers patients to front desk for conclusion of visit.
Pulls charts daily for lab results and records results in appropriate log prior to provider review.
Files all correspondence, lab work, charts, etc., daily.
Schedules appointments for referrals, accurately records in referral log, and updates log as reports are received.
Copies charts for referrals and for release.
Calls for lab and/or x-ray reports as needed.
Assists Receptionist and performs front desk duties, as necessary.
Upholds patient/professional confidentiality
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must have completed a High School Diploma. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Must have previous experience in the medical field. Computer proficiency is a must.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the billing department and for ensuring that billing and processing of payment receipts are consistently completed in a timely manner and in accordance with organizational, state, federal, and payer specific policies.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the Billing Specialists their work schedules.
Functions as a liaison between the billing team members and management.
Ensures completeness, accuracy, and compliance of billing with standard operating procedures and best practices.
Reviews billing staff processes for accuracy and resolves inconsistencies.
Identifies and assists in addressing errors and other issues discovered.
Advises Revenue Cycle Director of problems and concerns within the billing department; communicates any recommendations, questions, concerns, regarding department operation improvements.
Oversees the arrangement and managing of invoices, billing adjustments, and credit management.
Coordinates. with the billing team, to improve processes associated with the gathering and the passing of the data required to create billings. These must meet customer expectations and minimize disputes and potential payment delays.
Develops and maintains work schedules to cover the Billing Office. Helps to cover time off.
Monitors filing of insurance claims, secondary insurance filings and ensures that all billing questions are answered in a timely manner.
Researches and responds to patients' questions and concerns in a thorough, considerate, and timely manner; all while exercising discretion and professional judgement.
Supports management by providing timely and accurate payment and account standing information, including updating activity reports and proactively escalates billing issues to management.
Maintains required records and files.
Implements and maintains appropriate internal controls over accounts receivable and cash receipts functions. Monitors activities with collection agencies, insurance companies, information technology, customers, and providers.
Works with Director to complete month end reporting and provides information regarding accounts receivable and other insurance/payer related information. Sustains and improves billing performance to be measured in financial statistics appropriate for patient accounts receivable, such as days in AR, AR turnover, etc.
Attends seminars and meetings and participates on committees, as directed.
Stays informed on billing regulations and distributes information to billing staff.
