Provides emergency coverage and/or care for individuals receiving services.
Maintains confidentiality, respects human rights and practices universal precautions in accordance with Mentor policy. Upholds policy and procedure development related to health care.
Works with external agencies to coordinate services and ensure consistent treatment of clients.
Administers, tracks, and maintains log for staff and individual's testing.
Provides training for staff including medication administration, universal precautions and infection control.
Provides training for individuals receiving services such as self medication, prescribed treatments, sex education/STD prevention and smoking cessation.
May be required to coordinate, organize and/or assist with household activities such as light housekeeping and meal preparation; transport individuals receiving services to planned and/or necessary activities, appointments. Participates in on call system as needed.

Develop and implement policies and programs to ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc…) for assigned locations and groups.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in EHS or related Science field is required. A master's degree in EHS or related Science field is preferred. In lieu of bachelor's degree, 10 years' experience within EHS function will be considered.
Minimum 5 years' experience in EHS function, preferably within a Manufacturing, Facilities Management, and/or Research Laboratory setting. This experience should include direct responsibility for EHS activities and interactions with Regulatory Agencies (inspections, official written response, arbitration, etc.). Advanced degrees and certifications may count in lieu of years of service.
Required 2 or more years of EHS leadership responsibility (organizational or direct reports). Preference is given to applicable EHS-related professional certifications (ASP, CSP, IHIT, CIH, CHMM, etc.).
Thorough understanding of EHS science, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills (speaking and listening). Working knowledge of EHS regulations with a strong understanding of OSHA and EPA laws

Coordinates rehab admissions and distribution of caseload
Assists in the case management/tracking of Medicare A rehab cases under the PDPM system
Recruits rehab staff
Manages and analyzes department metrics including accurate billing
Ensures that rehab department is compliant with all regulatory issues. This includes assurance that department records are completed and maintained, such as medical record documentation, reimbursement denials management and other survey compliance requirements.
Maintains relationships with hospital therapists, physicians and other key community members
Provides direct patient treatment
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical, Occupational, Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant
At least 3 years of experience as a therapist
Supervisory and/or administrative experience in long term care rehabilitation preferred
Knowledge of Medicare PDPM and ability to manage a variety of payors effectively
Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide a range of professional medical services to inmates and residents, including examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and follow-up care
Deliver leadership and direction for the medical program in collaboration with the Health Services Supervisor
Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates or residents
Conduct interviews for admissions and make associated decisions
Make clinical rounds and participate in treatment team meetings to devise, review, and modify individual health plans
Direct unit treatment operations and perform minor, and occasionally major, surgeries as necessary
Hold clinics for nursing specialists regarding diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions
Maintain effective working relationships with facility staff, contract providers, and outside agencies
Utilize established policies and independent judgment in fulfilling responsibilities
Assist in developing facility medical policies and motivate staff to maintain compliance
Regularly evaluate all medical services to prevent inappropriate use or duplication
Monitor inpatient hospitalizations and facilitate early release as clinically appropriate
Closely oversee cases with potential catastrophic illnesses
Prepare and maintain various records, reports, and logs; review and process staff documentation
Ensure absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records; audit files for documentation
Recommend methods for improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of health services
Foster relationships with outside hospital and agency administrators
Facilitate accreditation processes as required, ensuring organizational efficiency and appropriate services
Accept on-call status and attend required seminars, workshops, and conferences
Provide health counseling and education individually or in groups
Communicate responsibilities and expectations to direct subordinates
Conduct staff meetings and promote effective communication between administration, staff, and inmates or residents

The Groundsperson supports the crew by performing work from the ground including clearing brush and trees as directed, and performing clean-up on each job site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules
Keep work area clear of debris
Work from the ground and clear undergrowth from right-of-way by using handsaws, pole saws and pruners, hand pruners, loppers and gas-powered chain saws to cut brush and trees
Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris; feed brush into brush chipper
Use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment
Perform general clean-up of job sites following completion of work
Carry, prepare, and store materials, tools and equipment at work site
Set up and break down road signs as directed
Flag traffic to protect employees and the public from potential harm or injury
Drive truck or operate other equipment as assigned
Perform basic maintenance service on trucks and equipment; keep trucks and other assigned equipment in neat and orderly fashion; report the need for major repairs to truck and equipment to Foreperson
Safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the work area by enforcing safe job practices, keeping work area clean and orderly, and staying in frequent voice communication with co-workers
Perform duties for storm work as needed

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must possess physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs, use chain saw and pruners in uneven terrain
Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
Must be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance
Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
Must be able to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must have and maintain a Driver's License if hired for a driving position
