The Community Choice Pantry Intake Specialist supports this mission by providing administrative support services within the Community Choice Pantry program. Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet neighbors seeking CAN services.

Enters intake survey information and all data into the PantrySoft (PS) database with 100% accuracy, daily.

Gathers and tracks program data and other required information. Furnishes reports to key staff upon request.
Assists with data entry for the Meal Connects and E-Harvest donation management databases.
Procures, maintains, updates, and distributes community resources for the community choice pantry, including but not limited to brochures, fact sheets, flyers, letters, etc.
Ensures that the information displayed on the pantry lobby TV screen is up to date. Communicates with the Executive Assistant regarding changes, additions, and deletions of information displayed.
Attends, receives, completes, and participates in all training assigned departmentally and agency-wide. Maintains service quality assurance and safety protocol by following through and complying with the Community Choice Pantry standard operating procedures.
Inform the Community Choice Pantry Manager or other available management staff of an incident in the lobby or when emergency services are required. (Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Firefighters, Law Enforcement, etc.).
Executes all office-related duties, such as but not limited to: Operates and maintains office equipment (pantry telephone system, copies, computers, and others).
Is responsible for all pantry files. Ensures old files are discarded within the proper time frame, maintains compliance with neighbor files.

Responsibilities
