Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Midstream Portfolio and Commercial Development Director in Houston or Lake Jackson, TX! Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has a multi-regional pipeline system consisting of more than 3,000 miles of active pipe and twenty-three storage caverns with access to rights-of-way across the pipeline network for potential growth opportunities. This role provides a focal point for interaction between Diamond's Business Development group, the functional Tech Centers, and the associated operational and commercial leaders at Diamond's sites. Job responsibilities: Utilize financial acumen to develop and update pricing formulas, using historical accounting and operational information considering the next best alternative and balancing service pricing with overall project value/impact. Retrieve, organize, and consolidate historical service delivery costs that are applicable using ECC/DSR; Validate historical service delivery costs used as a basis for pricing; Adjust, as needed, historical service delivery costs to account for non-routine or abnormal cost variances; Determine when Next Best Alternative or market-based pricing. Develop the contractual requirements associated with each service provided to, or received from, potential new Customers. Manage current contracts while identifying opportunities to enhance operating models. Lead the commercial relationship for Midstream activities with Dow by establishing best practices for communication and collaboration on asset contracts, while providing ongoing support for contract negotiations. Work with the functions and site operations contacts to validate data used in establishing service quantity commitments (Contract Quantities) included in agreements for new Customers. Monitor service financial performance to ensure revenue and margins are aligned with those anticipated when service pricing was established. Investigate and initiate resolution for cases of inadequate margin performance. Provide support for issue resolution during the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. In coordination with the contract managers, support annual budgeting and annual/monthly forecasting for Customer and fence line partner service consumption. Establish and maintain best practices for all aspects of the portfolios, including implementation, contract language, and pricing strategies. In collaboration with the Business Development team, lead the technical feasibility, scoping and development of Midstream growth projects and expanded service offerings. Lead or support negotiations of new customer agreements. Incorporate market best practices and build Midstream commercial acumen (muscle) within Diamond. In collaboration with Contract Management, analyze and establish baseline asset utilization metrics for existing Customers to uncover trends and identify opportunities for optimizing existing services and expanding services with new Customers. In collaboration with Operations and the Tech Center, participate in the development and maintenance of the asset strategies considering: The trends in the industry New technologies or improvements Existing and future service needs (volumes, quality, specification, etc.) Unmet Customer needs Negotiate agreements for right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, fee property, extensions and renewals of expiring leases, and landowner and Customer damages. Collaborate with the commercial groups on pipeline leases, divestments, connection agreements and other transactions involving Diamond's Midstream assets. Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at an E5 rank/Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher. 10+ years industry experience - in Midstream, Right-of-Way, Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Real Estate related field. Familiarity / experience with the structure, language, and/or administration of contracts A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
