This role is designed for a high-level sales leader who can drive volume, develop people, control inventory performance, and maintain strong profitability while delivering a premium customer experience.
The Senior Sales Manager will work closely with the General Manager and sales leadership team to execute strategy, enforce process, and elevate performance across the entire sales operation.
Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing the daily operations of both the New and Pre-Owned Sales Departments
Desk deals, structure transactions, and maximize front-end profitability
Lead, train, and coach sales managers and sales consultants to achieve volume and CSI goals
Drive performance in appointments, show rates, closing ratios, and retention
Oversee inventory acquisition, appraisals, aging control, and pricing strategy
Partner with Internet and Marketing teams to improve lead conversion and digital engagement
Monitor individual and department KPIs and deliver consistent performance coaching
Ensure compliance with dealership processes, lender guidelines, and manufacturer standards
Maintain a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Support desking, negotiations, and customer escalations as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 4+ years of automotive sales management experience required
Strong experience managing both New and Pre-Owned operations
Proven track record in:
Volume growth
Inventory turn
Gross profit management
Team development and retention
High-level desking ability across cash, finance, lease, and subprime
Strong understanding of:
CRM/DMS platforms
Inventory acquisition tools
Digital retailing workflows
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Must hold a valid driver's license

Troubleshoot tooling issues and machine, replace or repair parts as required

Program CNC equipment utilizing Esprit software
Work within a Team mindset alongside a Team of Skilled Toolmakers
Knowledge of and ability to use precision measuring instruments and gages to verify machined components are within specifications.
Keep required documentation as directed by Manager.
Always keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly
Follow general shop etiquette- indicate vices, tram heads etc.
Work with other crafts within the maintenance team and production department to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment
Follow all standard shop safety practices and wear required PPE as required

* Work with P&P and Accounting staff to ensure payment for billings or accounts receivable are received timely and posted as well as contact customers for reconciliation of discrepancies, when required.
* Build deep service relationships with customers.
* Manage customer's expectations of recon fulfillment activities through proactive communications.
* Respond to customer inquiries relating to assigned customer vehicles, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems.
* Be knowledgeable of customer account agreements, vehicle files, verification of title information, records of the completion of reconditioning work, and other required information.
* Enter all pertinent information into AS400 and other tools for approved work requested by customer.

*What You'll Do:*
* Travel to customer locations to service vehicles
* Remove tires and wheels from vehicles
* Use grinding and sanding tools to repair cosmetic damages (curb and road rash, peeling, scrapes, gouges, oxidation and bent wheels)
* Paint and refinish wheels to a like-new condition
* Deliver excellent customer service and promote our services

* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety
* Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks

* Physical stamina to kneel, bend, squat and climb, as well as lift up to 75 pounds and work on your feet
* Valid driver's license and good driving record
* Auto painting experience or collision repair technical school training preferred but not required
* 5 years if wheel repair experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
The starting compensation is expected to be:
Commission-based uncapped earning potential.
First year earning potential: $45,000-$60,000

We are seeking an experienced **Staff Systems Engineer** to lead systems engineering efforts for our embedded AV/ADAS platform. You will be responsible for defining and managing system-level requirements and architectures, optimizing resource allocation across computational and networking subsystems, and working closely with software and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of vehicle platform components. This role is highly collaborative, strategic, and technical, influencing platform roadmaps and long-term technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the end-to-end systems engineering for embedded autonomous vehicle (AV) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) platforms.
+ Define, document, and manage system-level requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with product and safety goals.
+ Develop and maintain system architecture, balancing trade-offs in compute resources (CPU, GPU, NPU), memory (RAM), and communication bandwidth (Ethernet).
+ Perform system resource allocation, profiling, and optimization to meet performance, power, latency, and reliability targets.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with software architecture, firmware, hardware, validation, and vehicle integration teams to ensure cohesive system design and implementation.
+ Drive technical roadmap planning and contribute to strategic decisions on future platform capabilities and scalability.
+ Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies related to system integration and performance.
+ Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Master's or PhD preferred.
+ Minimum 8+ years of systems engineering experience, ideally within embedded systems, automotive, robotics, or related industries.
+ Proven track record of leading system architecture design and resource allocation for complex embedded platforms.
+ Deep understanding of AV/ADAS domain including embedded computing platforms, sensor integration, and real-time constraints.
+ Strong expertise in system performance analysis and optimization, including CPU/GPU/NPU architectures, memory hierarchies, and network bandwidth management.
+ Experience with platform systems engineering: device power management, I/O, internal & external communication
+ Experience with edge compute SoC and MCU architectures.
+ Hands-on experience with system modeling, simulation tools, and requirements management frameworks.
+ Experience working with Ethernet-based automotive networks (e.g., Automotive Ethernet, TSN).
+ Familiarity with safety standards and practices (ISO 26262, ASPICE) is a plus.
+ Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams.
+ Proven ability to navigate and solve problems characterized by high ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
+ Advanced degree (MS or PhD) with a focus on embedded systems, systems engineering, or related fields.
+ Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments in automotive or robotics applications.
+ Knowledge of AV software stacks, middleware, and sensor data processing pipelines.
+ Familiarity with system-level debugging, profiling, and telemetry tools.
+ Prior experience at a leading AV company or tier 1 automotive supplier.
+ Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects.
+ Understanding of power management and thermal constraints in embedded platforms.
+ Experience contributing to strategic technical roadmaps and platform evolution.
**Hybrid:** This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Technical Center in Warren, MI OR the Sunnyvale Technical Center in Sunnyvale, CA three times per week, at minimum.
**Remote:** This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford, Sunnyvale or Mountain View], you are expected to report to that location three times per week, at minimum.
