Please review the following job duties: People Management: Assist in the supervision and delegation of tasks for a team of 30-40 staff members. Adress questions and concerns appropriately and assist with management matters as needed / directed by the upper management team. Ensure Safety: Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area and participants to prevent accidents and injuries, always prioritizing patron safety. Enforce Pool Rules: Observe and enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by responding to member inquiries, addressing concerns, and assisting with any needs that arise during pool use. Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, restrooms, and surrounding areas. Ensure the filtration system is functioning properly, and that pool chemistry is up to standard. Emergency Response: Respond quickly to all emergency situations, utilizing Red Cross Lifeguard training to administer first aid, CPR, and other emergency procedures. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and inspect pool equipment to ensure it is safe, clean, and operational. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other lifeguards and staff members to ensure efficient pool operations and a positive member experience. Facility Opening/Closing: Perform opening and closing duties for the facility, including necessary cleaning and preparation for operation. Other Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned by the Pool Manager or Assistant Pool Manager Requirements Lifeguard Certification: Current Lifeguard and First Aid/AED certification required.
