ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of two (2) years of Qlik Sense experience with of preference for five (5) years of experience building BI applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design, develop, and maintain interactive Qlik Sense dashboards and scheduled reports that power safety surveillance across FDA centers. Transform complex adverse event data into actionable business intelligence solutions that support regulatory oversight and public health protection initiatives. Work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other database systems to create performant analytics solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

* Coordinates projects between Client Services and IT as the department and client representative.
* Provides weekly or daily technical system set-up status reports to team and client, as needed.
* Responds to ad-hoc requests from the business users and technical team including development of queries and reports.
* Serves as lead technical expert in the development team. This will include the analysis, development, unit testing and implementation for software releases and bug fixes.
* Multi-Tier QVD Strategy: Architect and implement comprehensive QVD strategies with incremental loading patterns using ID/timestamp watermarking techniques to ensure efficient data processing and optimal performance
* Data Transformation: Transform initial and incremental data from Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other database sources into performant QVD models that support adverse event analytics across FDA centers
* Interactive Dashboard Creation: Design, build, and maintain sophisticated Qlik Sense applications including sheets, KPIs, set analysis expressions, and master items from multiple data sources
* Safety Surveillance Analytics: Develop dashboards that summarize adverse event trends, safety signals, and operational KPIs to support regulatory decision-making across multiple FDA centers
* Partner with subject matter experts in safety and epidemiology to convert complex requirements into intuitive visual analytics solutions
* Build and schedule daily data reloads, automate publishing to streams, and proactively triage reload failures to ensure continuous data availability
* Create canned reports and exports, integrating with N-Printing when needed to deliver scheduled insights to internal and external stakeholders
* Implement governed self-service analytics capabilities that enable users to explore adverse event data while maintaining data integrity and security
* Perform comprehensive performance tuning and deliver optimal running conditions for reports and dashboards to ensure responsive user experience
* Implement data validation processes and quality checks to maintain the integrity of adverse event analytics
* Document data lineage, model decisions, and create comprehensive user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and system maintainability
* Work closely with safety surveillance teams, epidemiologists, and regulatory scientists to understand requirements and deliver effective analytics solutions
* Maintain documentation of best practices, development standards, and troubleshooting procedures for the Qlik Sense environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Marine Interdiction Agent, you will perform marine-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties may include:
* Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.

Qualifications

You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
