This role is responsible for managing commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate development projects from inception to opening. Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Management
- manage the development process including participating in the project visioning and scope. The role will then manage and coordinate consultants during the entitlement and due diligence process as well as coordinate and participate in community and stakeholder meetings. This role will lead all design, due diligence, legal, and community/municipality requirements to gain entitlements and approvals for the projects. This role will also take the lead in reviewing legal documents related to development including, but not limited to, letters of intent, option agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other development-related agreements.
Financial Management
- facilitate and manage the project budget and proforma. The position requires experience in developing and reviewing budgets, cash flows, forecasts, and key development performance indicators including ROI, IRR's, equity multiples, etc. This role will prepare and work with leadership and other internal groups on the creation of financing packages for lenders and investors and will participate in public funding discussions and negotiations.
Reporting
-prepare investment memorandums on potential projects and present to the internal investment committee. Once approved, lead the coordination, organization, and execution of project progress by managing the monthly budgeting and forecasting reporting. Ability to learn and use existing development systems and controls and make suggestions for new process improvements.
Design and Construction
- oversee the design and construction process to ensure the project vision, schedule, budget, and return remains intact by working with internal and external design and construction teams to quickly address issues as they arise.
Due Diligence
- Assess potential development sites and make strategic recommendations to the SVP - Development. Analyze the primary and secondary markets the site may serve, existing zoning, ownership, demographics and competing sites. Interact with local municipalities and the brokerage community, as necessary. Identify and assess all primary risks to the development including on-site and off-site issues, entitlements, leasing, market, economics and timing.
Communications Management
- scheduling and documenting regular project meetings for internal and external team members. The Development Manager must be accessible and responsive to a broad base of stakeholders and communicate salient facts as appropriate. The Development Manager must be willing to travel and attend after-hour meetings (as necessary) and manage, train, and mentor junior associates.
Qualifications:
7-10+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in real estate, business, finance, construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
Expertise in the real estate development industry in mixed use and/or residential developments.
Leadership and management skills with team members, stakeholders, consultants, and government officials.
Excellent decision-making ability and judgement.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable with public speaking.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinker and problem solver.
Ability to assess and minimize risk in evaluating new projects.

About the role
The Director of Clinical Development leads the team responsible for design, execution, and strategic direction of clinical programs across Loyal's veterinary product portfolio. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end clinical strategy, from target product profile to study design and regulatory-facing protocol development through field execution, data interpretation, and evidence package generation.
Experience in human clinical drug development is considered if candidates demonstrate the ability to translate human clinical rigor into the realities and constraints of veterinary medicine (owner compliance, clinic workflow, clinical trial models, and companion animal endpoints).

Your daily work will include:
Clinical Strategy & Program Development
Own the clinical development strategy for our portfolio of veterinary drug programs, including target product profiles, pivotal pathway planning, and key endpoints aligned with CVM expectations.
Build and manage detailed timelines for product development
Communicate strategy and development timelines across multiple teams within Loyal
Study Design & Protocol Development
Design companion animal clinical trials (pilot, field safety, and pivotal effectiveness studies) with appropriate statistical powering, endpoint justification, inclusion/exclusion parameters, and handling of operational constraints (e.g., heterogeneous populations, compliance variability).
Develop protocols, investigator brochures, SAP inputs, and essential documents tailored for investigators and staff in veterinary practice settings.

The Director of Clinical Development is a motivated and experienced Clinical Scientist experienced in Phase 1-3 clinical studies. This individual will use their in-depth knowledge and experience to provide scientific input during protocol development, study design, oversight of study conduct, and interpretation of study results through the final study report. They will ensure the quality and integrity of the research through your successful collaborations with other scientists, clinicians, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of clinical study related documents including protocols, charters, meeting presentations, publications, and clinical sections of regulatory documents.
Support the design and execution of key elements of the Clinical Development Plan (clinical study or studies) within a therapeutic area.
Lead or support the clinical sub team and participate in the program team.
Contributes to preparation of all ancillary study documents including informed consent forms, case report forms, operations manuals, diaries, investigator's brochures, and operations manuals.
Assist with the preparation, or oversite of vendor preparation, of data listings, clinical study reports and clinical submission documents.
Collaborate with clinical operations team to oversee protocol feasibility assessments, site identification, review of provider specifications, and vendor evaluation.
Collaborate with clinical operations team to review vendor, CRO and site scope of work, study budget, and plans or manuals related to study data, IVRS, central labs, etc.
Provide scientific expertise for selection of investigators and vendors.
Develop internal and external training materials and presentations.
Train colleagues, CRO staff, and study site staff on the clinical protocol
Responsible for review and analysis of clinical trial data, including summarizing potential safety and efficacy trends, for preparation of interim and final reports of clinical trial data for study documents including CSRs, IBs, and DSURs
Lead or support the planning and conduct of investigator meetings and advisory boards.
Responsible for preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and materials for external meetings as related to the protocol and/or clinical program.
Oversight of scientific activities outsourced to vendors and clinical research organizations.
Engage with clinical investigators to ensure quality clinical execution
Experience & Skills
Relevant clinical or biomedical Ph.D. or MSc degree
10+ years of demonstrated drug development or medical research experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Metabolic experience highly preferred
Experience leading all stages of clinical trials and possess knowledge of first-in-human clinical trial design.
Gene therapy experience in a biotech company preferred.
Experienced supporting clinical trial design, statistics, and data review tools
Proficiency in development or protocols, case report forms, informed consent documents, and study initiation and monitoring activities
Proven ability to share scientific data effectively across functions and through presentations.
Experience reviewing and analyzing clinical trial data to identify potential safety and efficacy trends.
Highly motivated and accountable, self-directed, and able to execute with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship building.
Possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, be solution-oriented, exhibit high attention to detail and quality, and have strong initiative and execution to timelines.
Ability to manage multiple projects and interact successfully with external vendors.
Skilled at prioritizing tasks to deliver on deadlines in a highly collaborative and collegial work style.

About the role:
The
US Director of Development
is responsible for leading and advancing the organizations overall fundraising strategy to support mission impact and strategic growth. This role strengthens and stewards major donor relationships, guides the Development Team in effective donor engagement practices, and collaborates with organizational leadership and the Board to shape development priorities. Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy that maximizes TEAM of USs current and planned donor structure, to support organizational priorities and strategic growth plans.
Maintain a big-picture understanding of TEAM and its mission, constantly seeking to improve how TEAM of US builds relationships with major donors.
Collaborate with TEAM of US Leadership and TEAM of US Board on development strategy planning and donor engagement.
Manage and hold accountable the Development Team in their work with donors and prospects, working with them to set goals, maintain caseloads, implementing appropriate donor engagement activities, updating the CRM database as appropriate; and overseeing regular team meetings for collaboration, reporting, planning, administrative matters, and prayer.
Build and maintain relationships with current and potential donors; encourage donors to grow in matters of biblical stewardship.

Engage donors in global mission through activities such as donor-vision trips, ministry briefings, and other events developed by the Development Team.

Qualifications of the Role:

Position Overview
The Development Director will hold a full-time, 12-month position and report to the principal and school accountant. The Development Director will be responsible for providing the leadership needed to create and implement a multi-level plan for engaging key stakeholders - including alumni, past and current donors, parishioners, and school families. This includes fundraising, donor cultivation, grant writing, special events, and stewardship efforts to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of St. Pius X School. The Development Director will also implement the capital campaign as designed by Cramer & Associates.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the alumni relations and development director include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of annual fundraising goals and objectives
Development and implementation of fundraising initiatives like capital and endowment giving, grants, and support special events, such as the annual “Gala of Giving” auction
Identification and cultivation of relationships with potential individual, corporate, and foundation donors
Implementation and management of alumni relations efforts
Management of the daily activities of development operations such as gift processing, acknowledgements, reminders, etc.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on giving for regularly-scheduled Finance Council meetings (last Tuesday, monthly)
Advance and communicate the mission of St. Pius X School to internal and external stakeholders
Other duties, as assigned, including availability for occasional evening and weekend events
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will exhibit initiative, creativity, responsibility, flexibility and work well in a collaborative team environment while maintaining highly confidential information.
Bachelor's degree is required; advanced and degree professional development is strongly encouraged to remain current in best practices
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, alumni relations and/or development is required; experience with schools, Catholic schools, or educational nonprofit preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken form; ability to maintain organization, multi-task, and establish priorities
Proficient in Google Workspace and working knowledge of donor database and/or CRM platform is preferred
Must have a valid driver's license
Practicing Catholic preferred
