, Inc.
Stitch Fix (NASDAQ: SFIX) is the leading online personal styling service that helps people discover the styles they will love that fit perfectly so they always look - and feel - their best. Stitch Fix, which was founded in 2011, is headquartered in San Francisco.
About the Team
Stitch Fix's Fulfillment Platform group is a multidisciplinary team of Software Engineers, Operations Researchers and Data Scientists that owns the technology powering every step of a product's journey - from a vendor's dock, through our fulfillment centers, onto a client's doorstep and back again. Our systems drive the movement, accuracy, and efficiency of inventory flow across our network, inside our warehouses, and through our delivery channels. Our charter is:
Operate a robust platform for order-fulfillment workflows that prioritizes SLA-driven throughput, labor efficiency, storage utilization, optimized pick paths, and real-time inventory accuracy.
Enforce inventory checks on receipt and pre-shipment to ensure accuracy, integrity, and uphold client trust.
Forecast inbound merchandise arrivals using vendor Advance Shipment Notices (ASNs) and carrier scans.
Select the optimal carrier service for each outbound package by balancing speed, cost, and client delivery promise.
Surface accurate end-to-end tracking data to clients and internal stakeholders.
Manage carrier integrations, and label generation for every package type.
Enable data-driven decisions on allocations, inter-warehouse transfers, zone-skipping, and more.

We value a curiosity-driven culture where team members have the autonomy to own products end-to-end and have support to experiment, learn, and deliver measurable impact.
About the Role
As the Lead Engineer on Fulfillment Platform, you will help to set the technical direction for the systems that orchestrate Stitch Fix's warehouse and transportation networks. You will focus on development and roadmapping against key application enhancements to support floor efficiency, accuracy, and system reliability-all while mentoring engineers and driving industry best practices. Your work will directly influence how quickly and economically we delight clients, unlock inventory, and grow our margins. In this role, you will:
Influence the evolution of our multi-carrier shipping platform-rate shopping, label generation, tracking ingestion, and returns workflows.
Design fault-tolerant services that reconcile hundreds of thousands of carrier events per day and surface real-time shipment status to downstream systems.
Ensure comprehensive visibility into warehouse operations and precise ingestion of new merchandise.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and thoughtful feedback, fostering a culture of high standards and continuous learning.
Instrument, monitor, and tune our services for reliability, latency, and cost.
Translate business goals (cost, delivery promise) into technical roadmaps that balance short-term wins with long-term scalability.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
Build tight relationships between enthusiastic partners in varied disciplines of industrial, software, and operations research engineering, owning end-to-end hardware to cloud solutions.

Take a leading role in prioritizing and sequencing high-impact work to drive the best value for our clients and stakeholders.
Apply your understanding of systems design, engineering for resiliency, and thinking in tradeoffs across a multidisciplinary team of hardware, application, and machine learning engineers.
Be exposed to a wide-open field of opportunity for impact with plenty of challenges to make your own.
We're excited about you because…
You have at least 5+ years of software engineering experience.
You have fluency in a modern programming language, with Go experience or interest in learning Go strongly preferred. Our stack also includes Ruby and Python.

You have proven experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) plus a knack for picking up new technologies fast.
You have built production services on a major cloud platform - AWS, GCP, Azure or similar - and are highly skilled with modern observability stacks like Datadog.
You have practical knowledge of optimization, forecasting, or decision-science techniques ,and the humility to partner with specialists when needed.
You have a bias for automated testing, continuous delivery, and observability as non-negotiable facets of quality.
You have strong communication skills and are able to translate between technical details and business outcomes for stakeholders at every level.
Why you'll love working at Stitch Fix...

Head of GTM Engineering
TLDR
Remote job
We're looking for a Head of GTM Engineering to architect and build the automation infrastructure that powers our go-to-market engine, acting as a force multiplier for our sales and marketing teams. This role combines technical engineering skills with revenue operations logic to build "robots" that handle lead routing, enrichment, AI-driven research, and outbound sequencing.
Who We Are
🏔Product: TLDR is the largest network of tech newsletters in the world, with over 7M subscribers covering everything from startups and software engineering to AI, cybersecurity, product, and more. Every issue is written by builders in tech. Both TLDR Crypto writers both work at Coinbase, TLDR Dev is written by engineers from DeepMind and Meta, TLDR AI is written by researchers from Anthropic and Adobe. That's why TLDR is the best way to stay current on what truly matters in tech.
💪Team: Our 24-person full time team includes alumni of TikTok, Business Insider, Morning Brew, and other top media brands.
📈Traction: We doubled our revenue from 2024 to 2025 and are looking to double revenue again in 2026. We are supported by advertisers who want to reach tech's decision makers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Anthropic, Slack, Notion, and GitHub.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
Own the GTM automation architecture. Design, build, and maintain low-code and code-based workflows to connect our GTM systems.
Build the "Outbound Engine." Develop automated prospecting systems that scrape data, identify leads, and utilize LLMs to research prospects and draft hyper-personalized outreach at scale.
Engineer the lead lifecycle. Architect the logic for lead routing and scoring, ensuring every inbound lead is instantly qualified, enriched, and routed to the right rep with zero latency.
Deploy internal AI agents. Create AI workflows that assist the sales team by auto-generating account research briefs, summarizing calls, and updating CRM fields automatically.
Maintain system hygiene and APIs. act as the technical owner for HubSpot integrations and third-party APIs, ensuring data flows accurately and error logs are resolved immediately.
What Success Looks Like
Within 6 months you will have effectively overhauled our GTM infrastructure including but not limited to:
Fully Automated Inbound Routing: 100% of leads are scored and routed instantly without manual intervention.
AI Enrichment Stack: A live system that automatically enriches accounts with non-standard data (hiring trends, news signals) using LLMs.
Outbound Efficiency: A scalable programmatic outbound workflow that generates high-quality SQLs for the sales team.
Data Integrity: Reduction of duplicate or "garbage" data in the CRM by >90% through automated cleaning protocols.
About You
3+ years of experience in Growth Engineering, GTM Engineering, Technical RevOps, or Backend Engineering with a focus on internal tools.
Primary skills: Workflow Automation (n8n, Make, Zapier), Scripting (Python or Javascript/Typescript), API Integration (REST/Webhooks), SQL, AI Engineering (Prompt Engineering, OpenAI API, etc.).
You're Not a Fit If You…
You're a pure non-technical admin - we need someone who can write scripts, manipulate JSON, and debug API errors, not just manage user permissions.
Don't enjoy operating in ambiguity or startup environments.
Why You'll Love It
🤑Compensation: $150,000 - 250,000
🌎Location: We're a 100% remote company distributed across the US and Canada
🤝Team Events: Annual team offsite. Tell us where we should go next!

Central 3.9
Remote job
What is Central?
Central eliminates back-office work for startups.
While HR/payroll platforms give you software to figure it out, Central actually does all the work using AI agents and human experts: payroll, benefits, compliance, accounting, taxes, and more.
That's 10+ hours back every month. Thousands of founders trust Central, including high-growth companies like Magic Patterns, Wordware, and Bitesight.
Learn more and start for free at centralhq.com.
Why Central?
Founders start companies to solve problems and build something that matters. Not to become HR managers.
Yet here we are in 2025. Despite countless $10B+ 'solutions', founders are still drowning in back-office bullshit.
Why? Because every platform was built for HR professionals, not founders.
Today, every founder still has to: Register in multiple states. Set up workers' comp. Categorize expenses. Decipher government letters. Pay invoices. Update addresses. Manage equity. Troubleshoot insurance. Answer PTO questions. The list never ends.
What a waste of time. But what's worse is the constant anxiety: What am I missing? Did I do this right? Will I get fined?
What founders need isn't another tool they have to learn and manage, but something that actually does the work. All of it.
As an early member, you'll have a seat at the table and help Central scale to serve thousands of companies and founders.
Our culture
Central is a high-performance sports team with an extremely high bar and 3 core values:
Think clearly
Show high agency
Craft magic
---------
Come build a world-class engineering org that becomes a destination brand for top talent
What you'll do
Scale a high-performance engineering team: Grow Central's engineering org from a small, founder-led group to a 20+ person team. Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineers and leaders who raise the bar.
Establish engineering culture: Define and model the values, rituals, and practices that make Central's engineering org world-class. Build a strong, cohesive culture across a fully remote team.
Drive execution at scale: Ensure the team consistently delivers ambitious projects quickly and reliably. Create processes that enable speed, clarity, and accountability as headcount grows.
Design the org for growth: Define roles, career paths, and structures that let us scale smoothly to 20+ engineers while maintaining velocity and quality.
Who you are
Experienced org builder: You've scaled engineering teams from small to 20+ (or beyond), putting in place the right people, structure, and culture at each stage.
Remote team scaler: You know how to build distributed teams that feel connected, productive, and high-trust.
Talent magnet: You've successfully hired top engineers and managers, and can “sell” candidates on joining by telling a compelling story of mission, impact, and culture.
Culture carrier: You set and reinforce high standards, create strong cultural alignment, and ensure engineering is a place where people do the best work of their careers.
Execution-oriented operator: You're skilled at translating vision into clear priorities, aligning teams, and shipping big projects quickly.
Company-first mindset: You thrive in a startup environment - solving problems with limited resources, rolling up your sleeves when needed, and always prioritizing the company's success over ego.
Driven to win: You have a competitive spirit and relentless drive to win at a high level.
What we offer
Competitive salary and equity
Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k (US employees only)
Unlimited PTO and sick leave
Remote work
2-4 off-sites per year
Note for US Roles: We do not provide visa sponsorship. You must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Openmined
Remote job
About the Role
If we are successful, you will lead the engineering team to build the public internet for the world's non-public information - unlocking 1,000,000x more data in every scientific field and industry, and ensuring it is offered to the world as a part of an open, public information network. If the world avoids entrapping its private data in a walled garden, it will avoid this failure because you led an ambitious engineering team to open and de-silo the world's information. And on the heels of 1,000,000x more data hitting every scientific field and industry, a world-wide innovation boom will owe a debt of gratitude to you, and to the people you led through a challenging technological transition.
Responsibilities
Growing our engineering team from 10 to 15-20 within the next year
Fostering the culture of the engineering team (special challenges: fully remote, distributed, non-profit, open-source, ambitious, mission-driven organization which is pre-product market fit… 1000 ways to not make a lightbulb type culture)
Mentoring tech leads
Working with the engineering team to cultivate an engineering vision and strategy which can deliver on the Chief Product Officer's product roadmap and OpenMined's overall mission (special challenges: tech transfer, integration science, cross-disciplinary across distributed systems, cryptography, and deep learning; pre-product market fit, many rapid pivots while also gaining progress over time - constantly calibrating software stability and speed of innovation)
Final signoff on timeline estimates for features and for cultivating a team which can meet timelines (and manage expectations when timelines need adjusting)
Ensure that each member of the engineering team is aligned to the engineering strategy - and to OpenMined's mission overall (special challenges: our vision doesn't have widely recognized buzz words, we're still discovering how to describe different facets, balancing short-term vision with long-term vision focus, translating across technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating for both internal and external audiences)
Own the long term robustness and security of the software built by OpenMined
Manage the tradeoff between the forward advancement of the codebase and the accumulation of technical debt along the way.
Managing uncertainty and people experiencing uncertainty (special challenges: tech transfer, pre-product-market fit, ambitious goal, many pivots)
Collaborating with the leadership team (fellow department leads and the executive director) to create the organization's strategic plan, including long-term, annual, and quarterly goals
At the end of the day, you are responsible for the quality of the codebase which gets delivered to users - as a function of the culture, tradeoffs, and architecture you steward. This will probably be hard to do if you don't write some code - but also it's a management role
Requirements
2+ years experience managing 2+ layers of engineers in a fully remote org - we're looking for experience managing managers
5+ years as a professional software developer (or similar) - we're looking for people who can empathize and guide software engineers
3+ years experience in an org of 25 - 50 people (can be cumulative across multiple orgs) - we're looking for a member of our leadership team with experience in orgs our size
2+ years of senior leadership experience in a remote capacity (i.e. reporting to the CEO/ED) - we're looking for a member of our leadership team with experience managing remote teams
3+ years experience with Python, AI - it would be difficult to up-skill on AI and Python while on the job
Comfortable with both B2B and C2C software - our tech roadmap includes both dynamics
Comfortable balancing rapid prototyping AND production development - this is one of the most persistent core challenges our engineering team faces on a day-to-day basis
Experience finding product market fit and then scaling - this is the current chapter of our organization
Willingness to travel to off-sites 5+ times a year (we have quarterly leadership team meetings in person - most frequently in NYC)
Willingness to take meetings outside of standard hours - our team is remote and our customer base is global
Benefits
Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, focused on social impact rather than profit, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in the world.
Open Source Contribution: Make a real impact by contributing to an Open Source project that benefits a broad community.
Collaborative Global Team: Join a dynamic, international team that values collaboration and diversity.
Flexible Work Hours: Enjoy the autonomy to structure your work hours around what best fits your life and productivity.

Head of Engineering
Guidewheel
Remote job
Build the future of how humanity makes things.
Guidewheel is on a mission to empower the world's ten million factories to reach sustainable peak performance. Our leading AI-powered FactoryOps platform is the fastest and most scalable way for manufacturers to get more from every plant and machine.

Series B: Led by BlackRock and Temasek's Decarbonization Partners
What do Guidewheel customers have to say?
This role's mission
We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead a world-class organization that makes Guidewheel the default intelligence layer for manufacturing. This role requires a leader who is a true talent magnet-someone whose reputation attracts exceptional engineers and whose leadership keeps them.
You are a builder who develops builders. You balance systems-level judgment with the ability to make fast, high-quality decisions. You don't just manage; you coach your team to operate independently, creating an environment where the best engineers do the best work of their careers.
The outcomes you'll drive
Build an Engine of Speed: Build a culture where technical understanding supports fast, high-judgment decision-making. You ensure the team can debate easily, move fast, and you serve as an admired mentor who keeps a high bar for talent.
Deliver Elite Velocity: Baseline and then drive the team toward elite performance levels (frequent deploys, short lead times, low change-failure rates). Publish a visible velocity dashboard and improve metrics consistently.
Drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR): Make Engineering a core driver of retention. Ensure velocity and quality directly contribute to customer value, delivering features with a high-quality, customer-obsessed mindset.
World-Class Leadership & Management: Provide the "pastoral care," coaching, and direction needed for the team to thrive. Ensure engineers have protected focus time, clear direction, and that you earn strong cross-functional respect from Product and Operations.
What we're looking for:
Talent magnet. You attract exceptional engineers. Top talent chooses to follow you across teams and companies because they grow faster working with you.
10/10 Operator: You are calm under pressure, decisive under ambiguity, and relentlessly focused on outcomes.
Technical Horsepower: You have a track record of building resilient systems that handle unreliable networks gracefully. You are not afraid to break the "old playbook" and build aggressively with AI where relevant.
Performance multiplier: You maximize productivity via modern tools to aim for maximum output per engineer.
Exceptional Judgment: You combine pattern recognition and systems-level thinking to make smart trade-offs. You move fast without being reactive, grounding every major decision in data and first-principles reasoning.
Values-Driven: You model Guidewheel values-care, integrity, growth mindset, and data-driven truth-seeking.
What this role is NOT
Not a "Big Org" Manager: If you want layers and lots of process rather than judgment and leverage, this isn't for you.
Not an Architect Chasing Novelty: We value practical, reliable solutions over things that feel “shiny.”
Not a Tourist to the Plant Floor: We solve real problems for real people. If you avoid the plant floor or minimize customer contact, you won't succeed here.
Not a Perfectionist: Growth mindset is a core Guidewheel value. We do not wait once a quarter to ship. We ship continuously and optimize for progress over perfection.
Must-Have Experience
Proven record leading a lean, high-performing engineering team that shipped continuously and improved measurable delivery metrics.
Clear, concise writing and strong data-driven decision skills.
Ability to connect technical trade-offs directly to customer value and P&L outcomes.
What we value:
Integrity matters: We are honest, straightforward and sincere. With each other. With our investors. With our customers.
We (actually) care: About each other. About fighting climate change. About making a real impact.
We use data to make decisions: We possess the courage to accept “hard truths” and confront challenges head-on.
The power of a growth mindset is real: We strive to be the best we can be. We are committed to embracing change and expanding our capabilities.
We are thoughtful
and
fast, results-driven with a bias for action.
Adaptable and resilient: Guidewheelers have grit. We thrive in fast-paced environments and aren't afraid to take on hard things or embrace feedback and continuous improvement. We come through for our customers and teammates.
Extreme teamwork. No one can whistle a symphony.
What's in it for you? There are a lot of reasons why you should want to be our Head of Engineering, but some of the top reasons are:
You'll be a key builder at a key time. The impact you'll have is huge.
You'll get to build side-by-side with amazing humans, at a company on a mission to reach a $10B IPO by 2030, and see the positive impact of your work every day on the backbone of the economy and on the planet.
You'll get the privilege of joining at the ground level in building the FactoryOps layer for the world's factories and a company with generational impact.
You'll be a significant equity partner in the business. If Guidewheel can reach its potential, success in this role should bring multi-generational wealth.
Additional benefits include:
Fair & equitable pay. Annual on-target earnings for this role are in the range of $250-275K, dependent on many factors and our internal compensation and role bands.
100% remote culture. Work from wherever, whenever - we hired you to get a job done, and as long as that is happening, you have the autonomy to get it done where and when you feel comfortable.
Flexible PTO policy. We value balance and boundaries. To be the best version of you, you need time away from your screen, so we want you to take it.
Generous equity. Everyone at Guidewheel receives equity in the business. You will be working hard to build something great, and when we reach the finish line, you should be rewarded for your hard work.
Health Benefits. We offer different health benefits to cover your personal needs from day one of employment - you pick the plan that makes the most sense to you.
Additional Perks. Included but not limited to, 401k (match up to 4%), $500 home office set-up, parental leave, company laptop, retirement plan, paid company holidays, and some (if you choose) company travel to spend time with your Guidewheel peers.
Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:
Guidewheel is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, national origin, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.
This policy applies to all employment practices within our organization, including hiring, recruiting, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, training, and apprenticeship. Guidewheel makes hiring decisions based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs at the time.
