This position will do the preparation, layout and installation of carpet and carpet pad, and snaplock flooring in accordance with required specifications. Job Responsibilities: * Perform the required procedures of preparation, layout and installation of carpet & carpet pad in the home. * Understanding blueprints, production orders and the ability to layout and build product accurately from them. * Must be able to use staple & nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices and other equipment as required by the specific job. * Install heat registers and cover carpet with plastic. * Install door stops, wall type, and hinge mount. * Verify concept quotes and specifications for snaplock flooring. * Remove wall vents, floor register, and vent plugs to return to box. * Remove patio door side jambs, and label Left and Right. * Scrape entire floor and sweep. Education: * High School Diploma, or GED, preferred Qualifications and Skill Requirements: * Construction experience & the use of a large variety of construction tools are required. * Knowledge of the reading of a tape measure and blue prints. * Requires the ability to layout product accurately based on the blue prints.
