Job DescriptionIFR Pilot - Middlefield, OH About the Role Total Aviation Staffing is seeking an IFR Pilot for Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations based in Middlefield, Ohio. Ensure safe and efficient 24-hour operations, including day/night rotations. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks following established protocols. Participate in community outreach programs and adhere to company policies. Assist with loading and unloading patients and medical equipment as necessary. Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and company safety initiatives like Destination Zero. Qualifications Licenses and Certifications: Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating (ATP to be obtained within 12 months). First Class Medical Certification. Flight Experience: 2,000 total hours (1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC helicopter, 500 turbine helicopter). 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided + 100 hours NVG. 100 hours instrument time (actual & hood). Physical Requirements: Must meet a body weight limit of 235 lbs. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs for assisting with equipment and patient transport.
