Working as a safety officer keeps a you alert at all time,you talk safety,act safety,wear safety, see safety,do everything safety,you even smell danger and prevent it before happening and that's cool.

Cons

Nobody loves to die but I guess its inevitable,working as a safety officer you must be ready for anything.

The interaction with all employees. Knowing everyday you job is to help all. Able to be the Go To Person who leads by example.

To be the Best at This level you need your company Top CEO/Owner/President/BOD to buy in to the concept of Safety. If not everything you do will be second guessed and you are spinning your wheels to make a paycheck. THIS IS NOT REWARDING!
