SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) business unit, USG Mission and Information Technology division provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as data science and analytics, cloud computing, cyber security, AI/ML, software/application development, SecDevOps, network operations, and secure communications.

As a member of this SAIC team, you will assist in providing system engineering and technical services in support of the customer's systems integration efforts. The team provides on-going operations and maintenance, systems engineering of new systems, and performing analysis on existing and future systems.

SAIC seeks a Chief Technical Integrator to provide SETA support for a range of system engineering efforts and technical expertise, continuity of effort and value added judgement to advise and assist the customer's leadership and contract teams. The engineer will develop and maintain strong awareness on on-going IT projects and business unit requirements.
Responsibilities include:

* Lead, participate in and facilitate team meetings to reach requirement consensus to capture strategic capabilities for customers, both internal and external
* Execute end-to-end processes and preparing and coordinating required documentation
* Demonstrate the ability to capture users' needs by performing requirements elicitation directly with stakeholders, drafting and documenting requirements to implement changes to operational baselines

* Serve on integrated cross-functional teams supporting studies and analysis

Required:

* Active TS/SCI with polygraph
* Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.
* Ten (10) years or more of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following engineering activities:
* Experience working with leadership teams to set technology strategy and build strategic technical relationships with internal & external shareholders.
* Experience in leading and managing teams assisting customers in addressing complex technical requirements.
* Experience working in technical environments supporting the IC.
* Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Desired:

* Experience working in a SETA type function
* Demonstrated system engineering and integration best-practices - identifying, analyzing, defining, and coordinating user, customer, and stakeholder needs and translating them into technical or operational requirements for the research, development, production, and/or procurement of processes, systems, and/or services
* Outstanding interpersonal and management consulting service skills, including the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
* Ability to work with senior officials, to build and sustain professional networks in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment, and to manage competing priorities
* Proactive in developing innovative ideas and in communicating them effectively to the customer staff

: Polysomnography Chief Technologist Location : Skokie, IL and Bannockburn, IL Full Time/Part Time : Full-time Hours : Monday-Friday 12:00pm-10:00pm, in addition to rotating weekends



What you will need:


Education : Successful completion of an accredited education program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography Certification: Current CPR or BLS required; Registration by BRPT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists) or ABSM (American Board of Sleep Medicine), CCHS preferred Experience : 3-5 years of experience as a Polysomnography Tech II in an accredited Sleep Center.Some supervisory experience desirable.A strong background in Polysomnograms and MSLT scoring is necessary

This position manages and directs technical performance of all technologists in conducting patient studies; coordinates daily patient scheduling. Assures that proper radiation safety principles and practices are observed and that all technical personnel are qualified for studies performed. Provides clinical evaluation of new procedures and technical instruction for students in nuclear medicine technology. Oversees on-site equipment maintenance and repairs of all equipment used in nuclear medicine.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for maintenance of equipment with documentation of maintenance and repair.

Responsible for providing direct and/or advisory supervision to section technologists.

Recommends solutions to interdepartmental and intradepartmental coordination problems.

Coordinates ordering and maintaining departmental supplies; responsible for stock level, storage and utilization.

Keeps abreast of new techniques and equipment.

Establishes, revises, and implements new procedures, policies, and research activities, in cooperation with Section Chief Radiologist.

Provides guidance and instruction to technologists regarding technical procedures in the science of Nuclear Medicine. Teaches new or difficult procedures as they are introduced in the field of Nuclear Medicine.

Assists in development procedures and protocols; makes changes to the procedure manual.

Assists activities of medical physicist and computer programmer regarding clinical studies. Assists in developing research studies protocols and activities at the technical level.

Conducts teaching conferences such as the Divisional Procedural Reviews and Quality Assurance sessions, as needed.

Ensures that the necessary summary statistics are recorded for management use; assists with the departmental budget, compilation of data needed for preparation of reports, documents, and other data required.

Supports a team approach to problem solving.

Assists in implementing any changes that may arise from a managed care environment.

Assays and dispense radiopharmaceutical doses for other institutional users.

Orders special radiopharmaceuticals.

Maintains collaborative, team relationships with peers and colleagues in order to effectively contribute to the working groups achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment

Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to the Radiology Technical Manager and Section Chief Radiologist.

Supervises all technologists in the Section.

Routinely in contact with employees, physicians, nursing supervisors, coordinators and personnel from other departments as required such as Health Physics, Architectural Service Department, etc., and counterparts in other radiology sub-specialties. Also in contact with people from outside the Medical Center including vendors, service personnel, professional colleagues and coordinators of x-ray technology programs.
