Some of the front line workers are phenomenal.

There is a culture of toxicity. Internal processes are outdated and disorganized, employees are not treated well by people who hold power. It feels more like a cult than a nonprofit.

What do you like best about Child and Family Resources's CEO and the leadership team?

The CEO and the leadership team are everything that is wrong with the organization. HR exists to protect them and does not support staff.

How would you improve Child and Family Resources's culture?

Unfortunately the CEO has really alienated the majority of staff and it is time for new leadership. Additionally Human Resources needs to be updated and there needs to be new leadership there.

How does your compensation at Child and Family Resources compare to the industry average?

The organization pays below other organizations doing similar work and they gaslight employees if they advocate for themselves regarding pay or accommodations.

What's the diversity at Child and Family Resources like?

The organization is white led, with very “progressive values” the majority of managers are white. They have a very limited understanding of representation and the definition of demographics. They EDI strategies stop at tokenization.

What brings you the most joy at Child and Family Resources?

Leaving.
