Paraprofessional (School-Based) Compensation: $23-$27/hr (based on experience and skill set) Schedule: Full-time; hours vary depending on student age group We are hiring school-based Paraprofessionals in the Beverly Hills area to support students with academic, behavioral, and personal care needs. . The Tustin Family Campus program is an 18 month residential treatment program serving 15 mothers with up to 32 children. All residents have open Child and Family Service cases in the County of Orange. These mothers are working to reunify with their children while at the same time addressing their histories with addiction and mental health. Paraprofessional / Behavior Interventionist Job Description: Support students in achieving academic success, including those who may display disruptive behavior, with a focus on behavior management and physical intervention if necessary (training provided upon hire). Helps students when needed with their clothing, snack time routines, and, when required, toileting activities, not limited to but including, prompting, self-toileting and diapering, all ages. Monitor student behavior during classroom sessions, providing redirection and support for students needing remediation or intervention. Aid in student assessment by collecting data and sharing observations with teachers. Facilitate safe transitions of students between locations within the school under the guidance of administrators and staff. Maintain proactive communication with teachers regarding student issues and parental conversations. Supervise student movement within the school environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
