Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons' policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Tutor will be responsible for the following
Implementing Educational Activities: Develop and implement engaging, academic enrichment activities that promote 21st Century skills.
Classroom Management: Manage student behavior and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Student Support: Provide individual support to students based on their academic and social needs, including assisting with homework and offering additional help in areas of struggle.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Staff must have the competencies, skills, and proven leadership ability to successfully carry out the YMCA mission, goals, and vision for serving the community.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have High School Diploma. Bachelors degree preferred in Education.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Staff must represent the organization in a professional image.
