HEMET UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT TEACHER OF PRESCHOOL STUDENTS / SPECIAL EDUCATION BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The teacher of the Preschool Students/Special Education program provides an educational program for students identified in accordance with state eligibility criteria and Hemet Unified School District procedure. These students may exhibit any one of five of the following areas: self-help, communication, gross motor, fine motor, social-adaptive, and/or be considered at-risk due to medical or other conditions. The instructor of this program shall provide an instructional program based on individual needs as identified in the IEP goals and objectives in cooperation with instructional assistants, psychologist, counselor, designated instruction and service support personnel, and administration. Students in this class may require assistance with toileting, feeding, or other self-help skills.
