This includes maintaining order in the classroom and overseeing paraprofessionals and volunteers when applicable. You'll continuously strive to improve your professional competence by attending meetings and serving on staff committees as required. Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities

Job Title: Respiratory Care Education Location: Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, Orlando, FL Department: WPH Respiratory Care Type: Full Time Shift: Days Candidate must have Three (3) years of critical care experience as a respiratory therapist, to include one (1) year experience in education or precepting. Respiratory Therapists are integral members of the health care team. In accordance with established protocols and under the guidance of the physician, they help determine and deliver appropriate treatment for acute and chronic disorders of the pulmonary and cardiovascular systems. Respiratory Care services are given based on policies, processes and guidelines established by the department and reviewed every three years, and as needed, by the Medical Director. Job Description
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for the supervision and care of a class of Infants (12 months - 24 months age) in accord with the goals and curriculum plan of Anchor Academy. The principal duties of the Infant Teacher include: conducting focused observations of children, developing action plans, carrying out activities on a daily basis and evaluating the effectiveness of child development activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, maintaining regular communication with parents, and contributing to the effective operation of the overall early care and education center. The Infant Teacher reports to the Center Director and Assistant Director.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Relevant childcare experience
High energy!
Self starter and good leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
Must clear full background check
Needs to get DCF mandated 45 hours
Needs to get CDA or a DCF staff credential
