PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Support continuous quality improvement by collaborating with QA teams to evaluate effectiveness, ensure compliance, and enhance statewide systems and processes.
Provide programmatic and classroom consultation within the IECMHC model, supporting educators, specialists, and management teams in fostering emotionally supportive learning environments.
Deliver training and professional development for staff across counties, ensuring alignment with Agency goals, performance standards, and local continuous quality improvement practices.
Partner on agency grants, technical assistance plans, and strategic initiatives; review and maintain contracts, MOUs, and agreements to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Oversee allocation of special needs funds and support onboarding/contracting of local Mental Health Consultants.
Collaborate with local teams and LEAs to strengthen services for children with disabilities and ensure systems meet diverse developmental needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in early childhood mental health or master's degree in social work, psychology, early intervention, disabilities, special education or related field with a related Early Childhood Mental Health certification or credential. AND Minimum of 7 years work experience in the delivery of early childhood mental health services of which 2 years must be in a supervisory role.

Assistant Position Summary:
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for participating as part of a cohesive teaching team, assisting the Lead Teacher in coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Assistant Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. * Enforces the policies, rules, and regulations of the extended day program as approved by the Board of Directors and the Community Services Department.
* Develops and implements daily recreational and enrichment activities for groups of children.
* Responds to questions and inquiries from staff and parents regarding care practices from an informed knowledge base. Interprets and applies written instructions from parents.

* Provides limited first aid when necessary. Assesses injury to determine whether nursing care is needed. Maintains knowledge of students that may have medical concerns to remain aware of potentially dangerous situations for their individual condition.
* Keeps accurate and complete records of staff hours and timecards.
* Responsible for written documentation of behavior concerns, injuries, and/or other necessary communications to parents, the Program Coordinator, and/or Administrator in the course of caring for children.
* Determines supplies and equipment, maintain inventory required for program, and oversee correct use of such items.
* Responsible for the orderly arrangement, appearance, and décor of the Extended Day classroom or designated areas.
* Attends program staff meetings and required trainings.

Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred

Program Description
C.A.R.E is a recreational daycare and enrichment program operated by Chehalem Park and Recreation District.
Our C.A.R.E. program operates a before and after school daycare program at each of our local grade schools as well as a Pre-K aged Daycare at our local Community Center. We work to ensure that all students have the opportunity and support to develop to their fullest potential and share a personal and meaningful bonds with people in the school community. We offer a range of self- directed and group activities including supervised free play, sports, organized games, arts, crafts, quiet time and help with homework.
Position Description
Care Leaders are responsible for developing a cohesive child care team, maintaining the wellbeing and safety of children in our program, and managing the day-to-day operational activities within the classroom. Care Leaders must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Care Leader must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide coworkers, and resolve parental concerns.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

Grade School C.A.R.E. shifts are 6:30am to 8am and again 2:30pm to 6pm, Mon-Fri.
Pre-K aged Child care shifts fall between 6:30am and 6pm, Mon-Fri.
Wage Range: Min wage to $16 an hour depending on experience and availability.
