Duties and Responsibilities

Assists teachers with developing and implementing lesson plans, and literacy and daily enrichment activities to promote individual child development.

Assists in serving meals and general clean-up of classrooms and bathrooms.

Operates motorized vehicle in the transportation of children, as required.

This is supervised work in the Children's Network of HC's Revenue Maximization Unit and is responsible for coordinating the enrollment process for children to receive behavioral and medical health services through the Medicaid Managed Care Plan in a timely manner. The Child Health Care Coordinator must be able to acquire skills to use the FSFN (Florida Safe Family Network), FLORIDA, FMMIS system and gain familiarity of Chapter 39 of the Florida Statutes.
QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review shelter removal dockets and complete initial CIC Medicaid application.
Review and maintain all Medicaid and medical related correspondence. Review medical bills and research coverage before forwarding to Utilization Management Unit.
Complete necessary Primary Care Physician (PCP) changes to ensure children receive appropriate medical care. Must also communicate with medical offices to coordinate timely appointments, as necessary.
Collaborates with the Sunshine Program Manager to address and resolve issues related to TPL.PCP changes, system functionality and other Sunshine-specific concerns.
Coordinate distribution of all member ID cards, handbook or other notifications to case managers as received by the Lead Agency.
Maintain relationships with insurance company representatives and provide necessary documents for change requests.
Facilitates insurance card retrieval by contacting providers when necessary and coordinating with the Records Department to arrange pickup times.
Training: Attends and successfully completes all mandated training courses within the probationary period, and as scheduled thereafter.
Other duties may be assigned as special projects may be requested.
Working HOurs

JOB SUMMARY
An Assistant Teacher is responsible for supporting an Amazing Explorers Academy Lead Teacher with every aspect of managing and supervising a class of children. JOB DUTIES, TASKS, AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows daily schedule and implements curriculum which includes communicating and interpreting both verbally and in writing in the English language
Maintains accurate child observation records and anecdotal notes for use during parent/teacher conferences to be held at minimum twice a year
Conducts formal and informal assessments periodically to ensure children are on track developmentally
Interacts with the children and models socially appropriate behavior in the classroom and on the playground. This may require frequent standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and lifting to engage with the children

JOB SUMMARY

JOB SUMMARY
An Assistant Teacher is responsible for supporting an Amazing Explorers Academy Lead Teacher with every aspect of managing and supervising a class of children. This includes creating an environment of learning that promotes the social, physical and intellectual growth of children, regardless of their age, background, or abilities.

Job Description - Lead Teacher
JOB SUMMARY
A Lead Teacher is responsible for managing and supervising every aspect of an Amazing Explorers Academy classroom including effective implementation of our unique preschool curriculum. This includes creating an environment of learning that promotes the social, physical and intellectual growth of children, regardless of their age, background, or abilities.
He or she must be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practices and will take the lead in maintaining safety and order among all children in their room at any given time, thus ensuring activities and the curriculum are adhered to as required by the Director. The Lead Teacher must also be polite and responsive to the families of the students and be able to collaborate with other Assistant and Lead Teachers, as required, in order to foster the overall goals of Amazing Explorers Academy. All required training is paid and there is ample room for personal growth and development within the organization.
JOB DUTIES, TASKS, AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows daily schedule and implements curriculum which includes communicating and interpreting both verbally and in writing in the English language
Maintains accurate child observation records and anecdotal notes for use during parent/teacher conferences to be held at minimum twice a year
Conducts formal and informal assessments periodically to ensure children are on track developmentally
Interacts with the children and models socially appropriate behavior in the classroom and on the playground. This may require frequent standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and lifting to engage with the children
Communicates effectively and efficiently with families in a polite and respectful manner
Follows all safety and security policies and procedures and documents any accidents/incidents accordingly
Follows mandated reporting guidelines as established by the state
Supervises all children, regardless of home classroom, maintaining a secure and safe environment for children to play and learn
Maintains proper daily attendance records utilizing digital technology in the classroom including the AEA mobile APP, sending messages and updates to families throughout the school day
Maintains a safe and healthy environment adhering to all company procedures related to injuries and accidents and communicate any potential hazards to the Director
Prepares a safe, warm environment that is always orderly and clean
Promotes only positive interactions among teachers and children, treating everyone with respect and dignity by recognizing and considering the unique background of each person, including children with disabilities, special talents, interest, style or pace of learning, etc.
