About the Company
The Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (CC APP) team at UCSF provides expert care in the adult intensive care units at UCSF Health. The CC APPs are an element of the interdisciplinary critical care team that includes attending physicians, physicians in training, pharmacists, registered nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and UCSF students. The CC APPs provide care in all of the adult intensive care units including Cardiac, Neurologic, Medical, and Surgical intensive care units. These units provide care for patients undergoing cardiac surgery, organ transplantation, thoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgical surgery, general surgery, or patients requiring complex medical management. The CC APP team collaborates with the UCSF School of Nursing and supports the UCSF Surgical and Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship. About the Role
The adult Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider Supervisor supervises, coordinates, and administers the practice of advanced practice professionals (APP), including nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The adult Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider Supervisor provides leadership to advanced practice providers in adult critical care and supports the adult Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider Manager. The individual will assume full responsibility for adult Critical Care APP clinical services in the absence of the manager. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
Qualifications
Min 1 year experience in a supervisor, or leadership role.
4-6 years of recent experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in adult critical care.
Responsible for understanding and communicating an advanced knowledge of national, state, and local educational and legislative issues affecting advanced practice providers.
Demonstrated knowledge of state and national regulatory requirements.
Ability to gather clinical information, develop differential diagnoses, and create problem lists independently.
Competent to direct patient management and lead care team.
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise a team and to manage the complex workflow and competing priorities involved with providing quality care as an Advanced Practitioner.
Solid knowledge of the clinical and operational issues for nurse practitioners performing advanced-practice nursing within departments and specialty areas, including evaluation, testing, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as patient-care concepts, policies, outcomes measurement, quality standards, ethics issues, quality improvement, and continuing staff education and professional development.

The salary range for this position is $138,400 - $335,800 (Annual Rate). The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. The Writing Placement for Juniors (WPJ) Portfolio is a formative assessment of the writing development of students who are transitioning from lower-division coursework to upper-division coursework at Sacramento State. The WPJ Portfolio is a way for students to obtain a WPJ score and meet a prerequisite for a graduation requirement.
For each new set of portfolios assigned to a reader, the reader must complete a set of norming exercises. For each portfolio, readers must do the following:
Read the survey and both writing samples
Confirm that the minimum criteria for a WPJ Portfolio were met
Assess the writing samples using the survey responses to provide context
Provide a numerical score of 0-5
Fill out a rubric that describes the strengths and areas of concern in student's writing
Post an advising note based on the assessment that describes how the student could best support their continued development as a writer during the rest of their time at Sacramento State.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Regional leadership within employee's availability.
Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.

The WPJ Portfolio is a way for students to obtain a WPJ score and meet a prerequisite for a graduation requirement.
For each new set of portfolios assigned to a reader, the reader must complete a set of norming exercises. For each portfolio, readers must do the following:
* Read the survey and both writing samples
* Confirm that the minimum criteria for a WPJ Portfolio were met
* Assess the writing samples using the survey responses to provide context
* Provide a numerical score of 0-5
* Fill out a rubric that describes the strengths and areas of concern in student's writing
* Post an advising note based on the assessment that describes how the student could best support their continued development as a writer during the rest of their time at Sacramento State.

La Raza Centro Legal is currently accepting applications for a managing attorney position.The Managing Attorney is not and may not become a union employee covered by any collective bargaining agreement of which LRCL is a party.

Qualifications: Strong commitment to social justice; strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish; supervisory experience; program development experience; ability to advocate on behalf of immigrants in the media, community forums, and other venues; good public speaking skills; ability to engage in strategic planning regarding the direction of legal services work; admission to the California Bar.
Responsibilities: The primary objective of the staff attorney is to provide legal services to low income employees. The attorney will manage the Workers' Rights Program and its staff at LRCL, and provide legal advice, attend mandatory grant administrator meetings, and collaborate with stakeholders in community events.
The attorney will have discretion to adjust employee grievances within the WRP program.The attorney will also have authority on behalf of the employer, to hire, transfer, layoff, recall, promote, discharge, reward (includes evaluations, overtime assignments, time off), assign, or discipline employees within the Workers' Rights program, or to recommend such actions to the Executive Director.
The position will require the attorney to manage an individual caseload, maintain regular clinic hours (1x/month), recruitment and supervision of a legal assistant, interns and pro bono attorneys(as needed), to assist in meeting goals of the position as well as enhance the resources available to the community. The staff attorney will assist with fund development and grant renewals and ensure funding obligations including obligations under the contract, and reporting requirements.

As a Family Home Provider you will receive a tax free stipend semi-monthly per Individual and you can serve a maximum of 2 Individuals in your home. The amount of the stipend depends on the support needs of each Individual and how much care they need. The more support they need, the higher the monthly stipend. Most Individuals fall in the middle of the rate range.
The most important quality of a Family Home Provider is a commitment to the well-being and personal growth of the Individuals they care for. We are looking for caregivers who are in alignment with our mission and values. Enriching Lives is committed to providing each Individual we serve a caring family environment where they receive the supports they need to reach their goals and to grow into the best version of themselves.
Family Home Providers can come from all different ethnic backgrounds, skills sets, education, neighborhood settings and family constellations. Experience in the social service field, as a caregiver, mental health worker, Psych Tech, CNA, or RN is a plus, but is not required. Enriching Lives provides classes at no charge to potential Family Home Providers to prepare them to be caregivers in their own home.
Family Home Providers are responsible for providing care and supervision to 1-2 adults with developmental disabilities such as Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Autism, or Traumatic Brain Injury. More information about developmental disabilities is available on our website. Individuals may also have additional physical or mental health support needs.
Individual's ages range from 18-65 years and their needs vary from high functioning, fairly independent Individuals to those who have total physical care needs or behavior support needs. Most Individuals participate in a school or day program during the day, although Family Home Providers are still responsible for being available during the day if needed.
You will receive support from Enriching Lives to assist you in providing services in your own home such as initial and continuing education, the support of a multidisciplinary team, 24 hour on call professional support, and overnight relief support. Enriching Lives staff will visit you and the Individual regularly to provide support and ensure that the Individual's goals are being met.
Enriching Lives is highly committed to making successful matches and placements in the home of people who become Family Home Providers with our agency. While there are never guarantees for placements, our success rate is extremely high.
