We have two highly functioning female clients seeking a female Host Home provider willing to share a home in Wellington, Colorado. The provider must be willing to move into the home they currently reside in and share in the rent and utility expenses. The individuals will need support with their daily living tasks, cooking, shopping, housekeeping, transportation, and care of their pets. Some things they enjoy are going for walks and watching movies.
As a home provider, you share your home with an individual with a disability. Your responsibility is to maintain a safe and healthy home environment for the individual and be a mentor while helping the person as needed with the tasks of daily living.
In this role, you assist with cultivating life skills and fostering independence. We work to match interests and lifestyles between people. You will participate together in activities of daily living, both at home and in the community. Through the matching process, you are able to match with a person whose needs fit the support level you wish to offer. Duties vary for each individual from minimal support (i.e., budgeting, medication, transportation, activities of daily living) to full support (i.e., dressing, toileting, feeding, positive behavioral support, etc.), and the income is commensurate with the level of support provided.
Responsibilities include:
Provide support for tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, decision-making, etc.
Skill acquisition
Medication administration
Medical appointments
Support with overall health and well-being
Daily documentation via web-based case management application (THERAP)
Provide fun and leisure experiences to the individual by providing opportunities of community inclusion, integration and socialization
Compliance with all state/agency policy and procedures
Communicate effectively with team members as needed
Support physical needs of individual served
Provide transportation
Possible responsibilities depending on your preference:
Assistance with bathing, toileting, feeding, behavioral support, etc.
Provide support for medical protocols, such as seizure, fall, feeding tube, etc.
Care for someone with complex physical/medical needs (i.e., hearing impaired, vision impaired, non-ambulatory, etc.)

Job Summary:
University of Colorado's APP Fellowship in Child in Adolescent Psychiatry is an optional, post-licensure training program for new graduate PMHNPs interested in advanced training in the subspecialty of child and adolescent psychiatry. The Fellowship is 9 months in duration and will occur at the Pediatric Mental Health Institute (PMHI) at Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora, CO. APP Fellows rotate through six departments within PMHI gaining exposure to patients across a broad range of ages and diagnoses. One month of elective allows APP Fellows to return to a department within PMHI of their choosing while integrating additional clinical experiences outside of PMHI. Learning collaboratively with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Physician Fellows, APP Fellows will have one half day per week of didactics from experts in child and adolescent psychiatry. Didactic topics include but are not limited to: advanced pharmacotherapy, pharmacogenomics, and neuroscience. PMHI APP fellows will have the opportunity to teach and mentor PMHNP students and develop preceptor skills. PMHI APP fellows will complete a capstone experience, initiating or supporting quality/process improvement project within PMHI.

Ability to apply and implement evidence-based approaches to care including using evidence-based guidelines for prescriptions and monitoring medications in the pediatric population.
Able to perform initial psychiatric diagnostic interviews, develop and follow through with treatment plans, and maintain timely and focused documentation through the electronic medical record.

What Your Days Will be Like:
As a Caregiver within our Care for Business team, you will have the opportunity to care for children of multiple families in your area! Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of applied behavior analysis (ABA) based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model.
A Child Care Specialist, also known as a Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician, Behavioral Health Technician, RBT, or ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapist, works 1:1 with young children on the autism spectrum to support skill development, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and in partnership with our speech and occupational therapy teams. You do not need to be certified for this position; our training team will support you through the process of becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the BACB.

* Provide 1:1 direct intervention for children 2-6 years old in a center-based setting based on developmentally appropriate, naturalistic ABA therapy
* Follow the intervention plans developed by clinicians in the fields of Behavior Analysts, Speech, and Occupational Therapy
* Collaborate with each client's team of Behavior Technicians, SLPs, and OTs to provide high quality support for your clients
* Work closely with the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) team to provide continuity of care between providers
* Actively engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
* Build relationships and connect with mentors in a wide variety of fields
* Build meaningful and professional relationships with families; communicate and share progress with them on a regular basis
* Receive ongoing feedback, coaching and professional development from your BCBA to improve and grow your practice and skills

**What You Have**

What Your Days Will be Like:
