Assist residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, feeding, taking medications, and Range of Motion (ROM) exercises, both in the home and in the community. Focusing on empowerment, collaborate with residents to develop treatment and behavior plans, and goal building and achievement.

Be responsible for planning and implementing instructional activities in the facility and in the community. Provide instruction, guidance, supervision, documentation and role modeling.
Essential Duties:
Implement skills activities in relationship to identified curriculums.
Design individualized activities that teach and reinforce safety and survival skills.
Develop an understanding of the individual needs, goals and level of required assistance of all to insure safety and comfort while maintaining the development of age appropriate behaviors.
Provide individualized ADL activities in the community.
Develop ADL activities that facilitate social integration and community membership.
