The Restoration Worker - Gas is responsible for supporting gas distribution operations by performing excavation restoration work and safely operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles. The Restoration Worker - Gas also performs minor equipment maintenance, assists Gas Mechanics as needed, completes work documentation accurately, and delivers excellent customer service when interacting with the public, inspectors, and other departments.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operation of heavy equipment including but not limited to operating Cement truck, Asphalt truck, Dump truck, dozers, front loader and Knuckle Boom truck.
Maintain equipment, performing minor maintenance, lubrication and cleaning.
Operate equipment (Backhoe) to backfill excavations, perform job site cleanup and load dump trucks.
Possess and maintain a valid La. Class "A" CDL driver License or able to obtain License within 6 months.
Good knowledge on hard surface patterns repairs. Stamp concrete, Herringbone Brick sidewalks, pave curb replacement, handicap ramps, roads, pave sidewalks and Historic hard surface sidewalks.
Perform calculations to determine the correct amount of material (concrete and asphalt) required needed per job.
Assist with ordering and scheduling deliveries.
Mix appropriate amounts of sand, cement and water to form appropriate concrete mixture.
Cut, shape and install slate tiles, stones on sidewalk, roads etc. Install rebar or wire mesh to reinforce material.
Utilize restoration tools and equipment effectively such as wet saws, jack hammers, shovels, finish trowel, hand floats, compaction equipment, etc.
Deliver and pick up barricades and wreck wood forms from various sites.
Ability to work with other departments effectively to ensure efficient and effective completion of excavation restoration.
Ability to complete work slips and work orders accurately and effectively.
Under direction, follow specific safety and work procedures to perform routine task related to Gas Distribution facilities.
Communicate and work with the public in a pleasant and tactful manner and understand the importance of delivering a high level of customer service.

Summary
Our CLE (Community Life Engagement) service professionals work to assist our participants with becoming a part of their local communities and becoming more independent. They work to integrate participants into the community by helping with daily activities, finding employment, providing transportation, and advocating for the rights and services of individuals with disabilities.
Essential Job Functions
Training and supervising assigned participants (work/non-work, community access, volunteerism)
Assists in planning and developing methods and procedures for implementing individual programs
Submits an initial assessment and continuous annual assessments on their participants' progress
Hold consistent meetings regarding an individual's programming/services
Implements and documents outcomes and methods per ISP and/or Behavior Management
Completing all service documentation (attendance, interaction, work/non-work activities)
Completing scheduled training and continued education
Provides confidential feedback to participants and other appropriate individuals. Advocates for all participants, as appropriate
Transports participants to designated locations following all safety and transportation guidelines
Drives a morning or afternoon route, including picking up participants from their homes or dropping off at their home
Education/Experience
GED or High School Diploma, bachelors degree in human services or related discipline preferred
Previous experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities preferred
Must have a valid LA Drivers License and auto insurance
Must have and be willing to use reliable transportation daily that passes agency inspection

Excellent time and priority management
Ability to collaborate with participants and their families as well as colleagues
Experience with Microsoft, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
