Education/Certification N/A Experience N/A Special Knowledge/Skills Major Responsibilities and Duties * The game worker is expected to be present before, during, and after the contest. * Engage guests positively and respectfully. * Notify the administrator on duty about inappropriate behavior among spectators and athletes. Assignments * Announcer Spotter: Assist announcer in identifying players on the field. * Clock Operator: Operate the game clock at the direction of the game official. * Clock Operator-25 Second: Operate the 25-second running clock at the direction of the game's official * Concessions: Sell and prepare concessions for guests. Assist in maintaining the food preparation area. * Gates/Ticketing Attendant: Scan tickets and control access to the event. * Hospitality: Assist guests in locating seats and monitor for crowd conduct and safety concerns. * Parking lot attendant - direct traffic flow, control entrance in and out of the parking lot. * Restroom Attendant-notify custodians of any reported or observed hazards, safety, and sanitary concerns in the area around the contest, including restrooms and concession stand area. * Sub-varsity specific assignments: scorebook, clock, pitch counter, announcer, and other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Working Conditions: Tools/Equipment Used: Food preparation equipment. Posture: Standing; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and lifting Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions; Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 30 pounds). Two people should lift items over 30 pounds.
