ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Diagnose and Manage minor illnesses or stable chronic conditions. Able to evaluate, diagnose and treat patient's physical and/or psychosocial health status. Instruct, educate, and counsel patients on health status, test results, disease process, and plan of care. Monitor the efficacy of therapeutic interventions. Provide timely dictation and documentation with respect to charting. Utilize individual assessment and health care management skills in conjunction with Clinic Scope of Practice guidelines and the collegial Medical Director/Mid-Level relationship to meet the health care needs of the patients at the clinic. Follow Clinic Performance Expectations policy. Perform basic radiologic and lab procedures. Perform minor surgical procedures. When the provider enters the room, they check to see if the patient has stamped their card and provide assistance if necessary. The Medical provider checks the batch for correctness and signs the cover sheet. The cards are stored for Quality Assurance. Completes other duties as assigned.
