Placement in job classification will be dependent upon the license, certifications, and years of experience held by the employee and/or the selected applicant. The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but shall not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including working in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods, or otherwise to balance the workload. * Assists with the installation, maintenance and repairs of gravity lines, force mains, lift stations, and plant facilities. * Responds to service requests and emergency callouts for repairing and servicing routine and emergency minor and major sewer line breaks to minimize service interruption to customers. * Completes assigned daily work orders on tablet or another mobile device. * Evaluates, coordinates, repairs sewer service laterals to minimize service interruption to customers. * Performs the installation of new sewer connections to lots where service is available including all piping and fittings while ensuring the proper fall is achieved to allow un-obstructed flow. * Locates and marks county sewer lines and valves for private contractors and other utility companies to ensure against possible damage while utilizing maps, GIS, and ground penetrating radar * Investigates customer complaints concerning utilities systems, determines and takes the appropriate corrective action, properly documents findings and actions taken on work orders. * Locate, record, and update information regarding wastewater collection lines, service lines, meters, and valves throughout the collection system to aid in the effective and efficient isolation of leaks and breaks to minimize interruption of service to customers. * Maintains an adequate stock of materials on his assigned vehicle to ensure new connections and repairs are made efficiently and effectively. coordinates restocking with the storeroom/warehouse. * Takes On-Call duty on a rotating basis to respond to all after hour and weekend callouts as needed. * Interacts with general public contractors, and vendors in an effective and professional manner. * Accurately completes weekly inspection and maintenance records for vehicles and equipment. * Demonstrates commitment and dependability with regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to schedule of availability. Emergency Response County employees are required to report for work during a state of emergency and are subject to recall around the clock for emergency response operations which may include duties other than those specified in this . Get prior approval from the manager or pet's owner before any additional costs are added to service. Effectively communicate to pet care staff that guests are with you. Adhere to procedures in identifying pets while they are with you (groom cards, name bands). Promptly give any laundry to pet care so that it can be cleaned. Consult with other departments. The DSP Manager must ensure that a copy of the prescription or order is attached to each client's MAR, is legible, and displays the following information: Name of the medication Prescription number, if applicable Prescribed dosage Specific directions for use, including the medical basis for the medication, time intervals for administration, maximum number of doses, maximum number of days medication should be administered, and conditions under which the health care practitioner should be notified. All Scripts should be current and discontinued medications destroyed following all APD/ACHA protocols. Takes residents shopping and to medical appointments as needed. Ensures med/dental forms are completed and all follow up care is given. Notifies Supervisors and Nursing of any new developments. Assists clients in handling money and making and keeping appointments when indicated. Responsible for accounting for Resident Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) and maintaining receipts to be furnished to Fiscal Department. Performs other essential duties as requested or required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises Direct Support Professionals assigned to home, both permanent and relief staff; provides feedback and counseling; participates in all performance evaluations and disciplinary actions of staff under their direct supervision. Provides and documents training of staff; ensures that staff attend mandated trainings in order to ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements. Willingness to comply with in-service training or other mandates. A.C.T. Certification and/or training (at the discretion of the Residential Services Supervisor). Ability to follow directions, handle emergencies and act in accordance with good judgment.
