Much of your time will be spent visiting childcare providers. You will act mainly as a coach, offering guidance to help providers improve the quality of their program and become successful. You'll perform unannounced visits on site to ensure quality & safety, enforce partnership rules, and help ensure that State/County childcare licensing regulations are met.

You must be able to keep your cool and stand your ground, all while remaining courteous, professional, and keeping a positive attitude. To succeed, you'll need perseverance, grit and exceptional social & communication skills.
What you'll be doing

ensure compliance with our partnership rules and ensure providers meet our standards of safety and quality.
Prepare clear, concise, comprehensive internal reports on the results of visits.
Prepare a set of actionable recommendations for providers to improve quality.
Qualifications
1-5+ years of relevant experience in childcare (not required, but ideally experience visiting or evaluating childcare homes or centers).
Owner mentality: you're self-motivated, set your own goals, and can deliver results while working independently from home.
Be tenacious, high-energy, able to overcome objections during difficult situations and keep a positive attitude.
Outstanding social skills, communication skills and ability to think on your feet.
Be extremely attentive to details with consistent error-free execution.
Must have a vehicle and ability to travel to childcare programs through DC, MD and Northern VA.
Not required but a plus - you're fluent in Spanish.
Additional Information
Compensation/Benefits
We're a small team with a big mission to help improve access to safe, affordable, quality childcare and early education. You'll work in a collaborative setting, directly with the executive team. Benefits include competitive pay and a flexible environment (when not visiting facilities, you'll work from home and have flexibility/autonomy on hours.) This can be a part-time role, so candidates can shape their work schedule, and enjoy their free time with their children, family, or other part-time work.
