Client Care & Support

THE ROLE
The role will report to the Human Resources Department and will primarily assist with event day duties as needed and scheduling preparations for Game Day staff. Passing out uniforms, assisting with handing out lunches. Help with staffing temp labor. Provide Customer Service support for the Customer Service Manager as needed. Must have experience working with large crowds, a self starter and able to show initiative where needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist employees in clocking and clocking out.
Help direct employees, temporary workers, and NPO's to assigned locations.
Launder, organize and distribute uniforms.
Collect uniforms at the end of the event.
Set up and break down check in areas, employee meals, and other areas as needed.
Ensure all associates are following safety protocols.
Support any other tasks as assigned.

Child Care Choices - Navigator Specialist

What We're Looking For:
The Child Care Choices Navigator Specialist (CCCNS) will support and assist with the implementation of services and activities for the Child Care Choices Program. The duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with the contractual obligations for the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department, as well as departmental standards. The CCCNS will help families identify suitable and appropriate childcare based on their needs, complete the application, and guide them through the program's processes. The CCCNS will assess family needs, determine eligibility for subsidized childcare, and facilitate the issuance of vouchers for eligible families to the authorized childcare program. Additionally, the CCCNS will promote and increase awareness of early care and education programs that support nurturing environments that build social connections.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist families in identifying licensed childcare providers
Work with families to ensure that all requisite documents, paperwork, and compliance requirements are met in accordance with the program
Work collaboratively with the Child Care Choices Supervisor to facilitate administrative functions to support program implementation
Maintain and ensure data integrity and accuracy for required databases
Maintain records of program activities and track the participation of participants
Assist in the preparation of oral and written reports, as needed
Work with families to refer them to other partner agencies for other supportive services
Provide technical assistance and resources to parents, resource families and providers
Represent the agency and program at community events and meetings to provide information about available resources, promote services, and leverage opportunities for families and providers
Positively interact and engage with parents and providers
Keep abreast of current trends within the field of human services, family supportive services, early care and education and related fields as well as the legislative issues and regulatory changes affecting families and providers.
Assess family needs and determine eligibility for subsidized childcare.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Child Care Choices Supervisor and/or Management.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Associate of Arts Degree in related fields of early childhood education, human services, social work or psychology with relevant work experience. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
Must have a minimum of three years relevant experience working with children and families, including working with children ages birth to five years; ability to identify and navigate access to needed resources; experience and comfort with public speaking; demonstrated experience in effective problem-solving, decision-making skills, and ability to work autonomously with multiple sites.
Must have experience planning, implementing, and coordinating projects
Knowledge of Crystal Stairs' service area;
Must have experience working effectively with parents/providers from diverse ethnic, economic, and community groups;
Must have knowledge and ability to effectively communicate with adults in various settings and with varying learning styles; must have the ability to understand and communicate demographics, child care services, and related data and research.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and customer relations skills.
Requires strong problem-solving, organizational, and follow-up skills, and be self-motivated.
