The APP reports to and functions directly under the supervision of the attending surgeon. Duties include making hospital rounds with physicians, pre-operative history and physicals, evaluating and managing patients, writing admitting/pre-op/post-op orders, any other procedures as deemed necessary for patient care as directed by the supervising surgeons, and providing coordination of assigned division specialty programs.
