Physical Requirements:

The Red Barn ChildCare Center & Preschool is an early childhood program and daycare for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our mission is to love, guide, teach, and positively influence the children who spend time in our facility and to provide parents with peace of mind that their child is in excellent care. We are growing our program and looking to fill current and future positions in our classrooms to complement our current team. Previous experience in a professional group setting is preferred and formal training/courses Early Childhood Education is a plus! Our program maintains a wait list so although child care discounts do apply for full time teaching staff, we do not have immediate availability.
We are the ONLY Pyramid Model Implementation Site in Montgomery County and we receive specialized training above and beyond basic standards with a trauma-informed approach. We focus on social emotional skills in addition to academics and work with an Early Childhood Specialist that provides hands-on technical support in our classrooms.
In addition to Pyramid Model Modules, you will receive 24 additional hours of FREE training every year. We aid and support you in getting tuition assistance for Early Childhood Education Courses and annual wage supplements for those with formal training.
We have a Program Coordinator that develops our curriculum and works alongside teaching staff to outline lessons during paid planning. Our administration and team leaders have over 104 years of combined experience in the ECE field and have a wealth of knowledge to share.
Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma Meet annual professional development requirements per state regulations Provide 3 professional references Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Able to lift up to 40 pounds and provide proof of physical Ability to work a full time shift Monday-Friday based on the needs of the center & maintain a positive record of attendance Reliable transportation to the Child Care center Be capable of adhering to smoke free campus & personal cell phone usage policies
