The New Canaan YMCA is looking for part-time WEEKDAY staff for our Kids Club (on-site babysitting) program.
Kids Club is our on-site drop-in babysitting program available to our members while they use our facility. Kids Club is available for children 6 months and older (children must be able to sit up on their own), while parents/guardians remain on the premises.
We are looking for caring and energetic staff to provide safe oversight and engagement with all children and families utilizing the program.
All New Canaan YMCA staff get COMPLIMENTARY membership to our facility, so this is a great way to earn some extra money and get you onsite so you can enjoy a workout after your shift is over!
Principal Activities include:
Provide a safe, nurturing environment for the children in their care.
Supervise the children, playroom, and activities to create a fun and inviting space.
Monitor check in/check out information and contact information in case parent/guardian must be reached.
Available shifts are:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 12:30 PM
*While we are hoping for candidates who can commit to a full 20-25 hours per week (Monday - Friday), we still encourage you to still apply even if you are not available for the full week committment. Schedule can be discussed during interview
