Responsible for supervising, nurturing, and caring for children typically from 6 months through preteen ages. This position consists of welcoming children, facilitating crafts and activities, diapering, and managing of the childrens behavior while in the classroom. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Ensures programs operate within the budget. Substitute in classrooms and fill-in when needed. This includes routines related to diapering, hand washing, eating, napping and transitioning between activities. Promote and nurture parent-child bonding and relationships.
