This early education teaching position includes: + Casual / On Call + Minimum requirement of 3 shifts per month **Responsibilities:** + Research and development of curriculum relevant to your classroom age group + Provide weekly plans to both the Director and the parents of the childcare program + Ensure implementation of age-appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate the psychosocial, cognitive, and cultural needs of the children in their care + Responsible for reporting any concerns to the director regarding staff or classroom issues + Supervise the health and safety needs of every child + Conduct classroom and parent meetings + Keeps the classroom neat and orderly + Train and guide the assigned Assistant Teacher, Aide, and/or Volunteer, involving them in activity planning and program implementation with input from the supervisor + Directly supervise classroom aides and volunteers + Report all needed information to the center's Director + Ability to perform other duties as assigned and directed **Required:** + High school Diploma/GED - Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota Rule 9503.003 + Current Pediatric CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross; must be obtained within 90 days of hire + 0 to 1 Year of relevant experience **Preferred:** + Associate Degree + Bachelor's Degree + One to Three Years- Two years teaching in a childcare center or early childhood program **Benefit Overview** Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
