The Site Attendant will assist clients with all immediate needs for daily living and maintain facility upkeep.
The starting pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for $1.00 swing shift differential and $2.00 graveyard shift differential. The schedule for this position is 7:00am to 3:30pm, Wednesday - Sunday.
Responsibilities
Client Care & Support
Assist with client intakes and outtakes by preparing client bed area and ensuring bedding and surrounding areas are clean and ready prior to client arrival. Enforce client site rules and policies during admission and discharge.

Job Summary
Responsible to successfully complete all tasks and schedules given by the EVS supervisor to produce a sterile, clean and healthy environment at the hospital. The EVS aide will clean areas that may contain IV solutions and medications as part of their normal area of cleaning responsibilities. The EVS aide is trained by their EVS supervisor as to the significance and importance of keeping the room secure upon entering and upon leaving the secured area.

Minimum Experience Requirement:
On the job training. Prior experience preferred but not required. Must demonstrate upon interview the following skills: Ability to understand basic chemical-mixing instructions; ability to use basic math; able to read, write and understand English. Excellent customer service skills required.

Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE This position is responsible for planning and implementing a campus child care instructional program; providing instruction and directing activities for children; preparing instructional materials; and maintaining a variety of reports.
JOB DESCRIPTION Implements programs designed to meet the individual needs of children to include activities involving music, creative arts, language arts and literature, science and math; sets up and supervises learning activities geared toward preschool children. Observes and assesses the development of children to ensure classroom activities meet their needs; observes and provides assessments of children's development. Provides information to parents regarding the program and communicates regularly about children's development and child rearing practices. Ensures safety of children by observing and directing their behavior according to approved policies; educates children on health and safety practices; assists children with personal hygiene activities such as toileting and washing hands. Maintains safe and clean environment; cooks and serves meals and snacks; performs light housekeeping and sanitizing of surfaces, bathrooms, supplies and equipment. Prepares and maintains variety of records and reports related to the program. Attends and participates in a variety of meetings, educational conferences, parent-teacher conferences, seminars and open houses. Communicates and advises parents, staff and students on various child-related issues; consults with professionals regarding children's development and concerns; communicates with faculty, as applicable, on student progress and related instructional issues. Creates and maintain records and files; assists parents in registering their children; prepares attendance records. Orders and maintains various equipment, supplies, and materials as needed; maintains equipment as needed. Trains and provides work direction and guidance to others as directed. Learns and applies emerging technologies and advances (e.g., computer software applications) as necessary to perform duties in an efficient, organized, and timely manner. Participate in District/College efforts to increase the diversity of faculty and staff and to address student achievement gaps; active assistance in the creation of a welcoming and inclusive work and educational environment; attend and participate in diversity, equity and inclusion trainings and events. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs services as required by grant programs, such as home visits, as needed.

Desirable Qualifications
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Commission on Teacher Credentialing permit required Teacher level or higher (Teacher Permit : 24 ECE units and 16 GE units OR Master Teacher Permit : Teacher + 6 ECE units in specialization + 2 adult supervision units). Reggio Emilia - Constructivist approach experiences desired. Knowledge of title 5, 22 and CLASS trained. Dedicated to providing quality child development learning experiences within a Lab School. Prior experience in approaching work and interactions with colleagues and/or students in an equity minded manner. Ability to provide an inclusive and welcoming work/educational environment.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Completion of a minimum of twelve (12) semester units of course work in early childhood education/child development (exclusive of field work) including at least one course in each of the following core areas: Child/human growth and development; Child, family and community, or child and family relations; Programs/curriculum. AND Fifty days of experience in an instructional capacity in a child care development program, working at least three hours per day within the last two years. OR Alternative equivalent qualifications which meet the eligibility requirements for the Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, as specified by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Schedule and shift are subject to change in accordance with department needs.)
