What Your Days Will be Like:
As a Caregiver within our Care for Business team, you will have the opportunity to care for children of multiple families in your area! You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children under your care. Our team will automatically place you in jobs based on your experience, location, and availability!
Conduct Intro Calls with each family you're booked with

Compensation Range: $19 to $21 hourly. The base compensation range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position.
Actual compensation may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The School-Age Child Care instructor is under the supervision of the School-Age Child Care Supervisor and will be responsible for the implementation of a before and after school enrichment program for elementary children, which will provide developmentally appropriate experiences to meet or exceed Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for school-age children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Plan and supervise assignments for the Child Development Assistant.
Follow LPS Policies and Procedures and State of Michigan Licensing Rules for School-Age Programs.
Initiate and maintain positive relationships with program families and LPS personnel.
Coordinate the on-site monthly payment collections.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree in related field of study preferred
OR a minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit, 12 of which are in a child-related field of study
OR Associate's Degree in related field of study with 12 semester hours in a child-related field of study
2. Must have demonstrated ability to work well with children, parents and staff.
