What you'll do.
As an ABA Behavior Technician you will work with 1-2 individuals with ASD (at different times) 1:1 in their home (and at our center), implement a behavior plan as instructed by your direct supervisor, and daily data collection.
Qualifications/skills to have.
Energetic individuals passionate about working with those impacted by ASD, organized and able to follow behavior plans, responsible and timely, desires a fun work environment with room to grow, experience working with individuals with ASD preferred but not required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
Part Time (Under 24 hours) & Full Time (24-30 hours) positions available. Sessions are after school during the school year and Saturdays. Early Childhood sessions may be during the day as well.

Qualifications: EEC certified teachers preferred or assistant teachers with multiple years of experience.
Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.

Greet and address each child by name, treat all children, parents, and staff with dignity and respect
Maintain open lines of communication with families
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum/learning experiences in line with the CT -ELDS and NAEYC Standards
Maintain observations and assessments
Plan parent-teacher conferences
Engage in mealtime activities with the children, record daily attendance and daily lunch counts in accordance with CACFP and center policy
Use appropriate food handling, sanitation and OSHA procedures at all time
Maintain a clean environment, classroom and playground which includes storage of materials in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.
Attend and actively participate in staff meetings
Attend workshops, conferences, and all in-service trainings to meet OEC requirements (20 hours per year full-time employee)
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or Bachelor's Degree in a non-related field including 36 credits in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
Minimum of a CDA with 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
