In this role, you will complete repairs and maintenance projects in areas such as plumbing, appliance repair, painting, vehicles, HVAC filter changing, etc. For more complicated repairs and bigger projects, you will work with outside facility-related vendors. You will conduct inspections of buildings, grounds, and vehicles to ensure they are safe and performing as needed. You will prepare your properties for licensing inspections by state and/or federal authorities. You will assemble, set up, and move furniture. You will perform tests of fire alarms, smoke detector systems, and emergency, and exit sign lighting. You will drive a company vehicle to deliver items, get parts and supplies, and support the various programs and events in the organization. You will work individually at your assigned buildings and as a team on special projects or where an extra set of hands is needed.
To be considered you must have:
A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of facility maintenance or repair experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively
Ability to properly use most basic hand and power tools
Comfort with climbing tall ladders
A clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver's license
A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting
