The local branch I am at is wonderful because I have a great director who cares about her job. She’ll work 16 hour days and pour back her own money into the school. She loves her staff and is willing to work with you when you need help.
Corporate only allows our branch to have 10 hours of overtime divided amongst ALL of the employees in the building per WEEK and that’s REGARDLESS of whether or not you have a bunch of people off or sick. Worked almost a year, and never got a pay raise above my $12.50 an hour despite constantly being told that I do a terrific job. Only 8 days of PTO a year. No bonuses. Horrible benefits. Corporate always audits you through the cameras and then shoots off an email telling you all the things you are doing wrong. Basically zero interaction between day to day staff and corporate. I met one person from corporate ONCE in my entire time working there and she talked to me for about 20 seconds. Higher ups are very disconnected and have no idea what it is like to be in a classroom.
There are no benefits. The insurance “benefits” they offer, you still have to pay for, so I waived all of them.
Can’t even answer because I can’t even find any info on the guy other than his name. No interaction with his lower down employees whatsoever.
It was a really easy interview to pass. If you’re friendly and have a good work ethic, and care about children, you’ll do well.
Terrible pay.
I don’t know.
My director and of course the children. When they listen, they are a joy to be around
Working with kids and parents
