    What You'll Be Doing You will be responsible for the optimal development and well-being of children through family-centered childcare. This includes the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum which emphasizes learning through play in accordance with Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), BrightStars Quality Rating and Improvement System, and the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards. Your Main Priorities While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job, you will primarily: • Maintain an inviting, stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment for children. • Provide appropriate supervision and care in the classroom. • Oversee Teacher Assistants, Substitutes, Interns, and Volunteers in the classroom. • Assist other teaching staff in caring for children in the classroom, and is reactive to the children's physical, emotional and cognitive needs. • Collaborate with the Education Coordinator to develop a monthly curriculum - lesson plans, specific standards, and outlining specific activities to meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of the children. • Plan and participate in scheduled parent conferences. • Submit paperwork in a timely manner - daily notes, attendance, meal sheets, newsletters, developmental profiles, and family goal sheets. • Foster positive relationships with parents and families, provide support and resources and report concerns to the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor. • Ensure all work is completed in a manner that adheres to all health and safety protocols, address and report any potential hazards to ensure the safety of children, and be reactive to children's physical, emotional and cognitive needs. Who You Are Requirements, Skills & Abilities: • Associate degree in early childhood education or related field required; bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred; or Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification plus experience the agency deems equivalent. • Minimum 1 years' experience in a classroom setting required; knowledge of Early Childhood development and/or experience in a childcare setting preferred. • Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills. • Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. • Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population. • Collaboration and teamwork. • The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position. Physical Requirements Direct Service Staff: This position requires time sitting, standing, walking, carrying and lifting up to 25lbs. This role also requires operating desktop, laptop and/or cell phone, and communicating with colleagues.     What You'll Be Doing You will facilitate the successful implementation of students with development and/or behavioral needs into the classroom environment. The Therapeutic Integration Specialist will partner with assigned clients from the Kids Connect Program to provide necessary support, ensure their safety and wellbeing, and help the clients thrive in the classroom as they learn to navigate their needs, social awareness, and independence. Your Main Priorities While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job, you will primarily: * Meet with the Clinical Supervisor and maintain accurate client records using the Electronic Health Record (HER) system. * Provide direct services to children to enable inclusion and build skills. * Implement client behavior plans as established by the Clinical Supervisor. * Ensure children receive goal-oriented assessments and treatment/service plans withing established time frames. * Foster positive relationships with parents and families, provide support and resources and report concerns to the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor. * Ensure all work is completed in a manner that adheres to all health and safety protocols, address and report any potential hazards to ensure the safety of children, and be reactive to children's physical, emotional and cognitive needs. Skills & Abilities * Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field required. * Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a childcare setting required; knowledge of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Early Childhood quality standards is a plus. * Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills. * Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. * Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population. * Collaboration and teamwork. * The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position. Physical Requirements Direct Service Staff: This position requires time sitting, standing, walking, carrying and lifting up to 25lbs. The Scattered Site Housing Program houses individuals throughout Los Angeles County in subsidized housing units. Participants are linked to an ICMS case manager who provides intensive field-based case management and clinical services while employing a trauma-informed care and harm reduction approach to a diverse group of clients with complex trauma facing medical, mental health and substance use barriers. Participants remain in the program for as long as they require subsidized housing. For many individuals this may mean their entire lifetime. The Program Manager is responsible for the daily oversite of the ICMS Team. This includes assistance with client crisis management, coordination of services and clinical supervision to case management team. The Program Manager serves as the primary liaison between DHS and the ICMS team, ensuring funder standards are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides clinical and administrative supervision to Bachelor level Case Managers and Masters level Clinical Case Managers. Facilitates weekly team meetings and case consultation utilizing a trauma-informed care lens and harm reduction approach. Collaborates with The Housing Department team, DHS and community partners to develop creative interventions focused on improving the safety and well-being of our most marginalized clients. Assists with client crisis management which includes assessment for voluntary and involuntary psychiatric hospitalizations. Be available to respond to emergency calls and situations on a 24-hour basis with support from direct clinical supervisor and Housing Department Director. Ensure all documentation, charting and data collection is complete, timely and accurate through on-going audits of electronic data bases and chart reviews. In coordination with the Director, provide budgetary oversight of program administration and ensure program revenue and expenses are within the adopted annual budget. Responsible for hiring and staffing ICMS team and ensuring staff are adequately trained and abide by all policies and procedures. Ensure case managers are linking clients to appropriate services and utilizing a "Whatever It Takes" approach. Case Managers will provide assistance with locating and securing housing, connection to community resources, government and state benefits, medical, mental health and substance use services. Assist in the screening, assessment, and enrollment of clients, including orientation to program policies, resources and goals Provide support and containment to team in the event of client death and/or traumatic incident. Coordinate or provide debriefing when appropriate.
